Description

The southernmost campground on the Cooney Reservoir, Fishermans Point Campground is a great place for fishing and has accessible parking. Cooney is located just 20 miles north of Red Lodge, Montana, and is a gateway to the spectacular Beartooth Mountains and Yellowstone National Park. The fish are biting all year around, and you’re likely to be feasting on rainbow trout for dinner. If it’s winter, you’d better grab your pole and head on over anyway, because this is a great location for ice fishing!
