The Lady Asha Yurt/Treehouse!
Best springbreak ever!
We always love staying at Hummingbird Hollow and the yurt was absolutely amazing, relaxing and there were multiple things for each child to enjoy! Rock painting, hiking up the hill to the the view of the surrounding land, which was amazing, the hammocks for relaxing the swing which even the horses enjoyed visiting while the kids were taking turns! Susan and her husband are just the sweetest most laid back people who obviously care so much about their animals and enjoy seeing everyone enjoy their land and loving on the animals. The country mart in town also has Bluebell ice cream which is a huge plus in my book!

Animal sounds
My kiddos and I loved the animals. My gosh. It was the highlight of our stay. The weather was amazing. The only problem was that we weren’t aware how loud the animals would be at night. My two kiddos ages 7/9 couldn’t fall asleep in our tent. With there not being any electricity, I couldn’t turn white noise on my phone to drown it out so we moved to the car at 12:30am and they finally went to sleep by 2:30, only to be woken up by the lovely rooster at 5:30. Next time I’ll bring a battery operated white noise maker. 💜👏🏻

Horse people will love it!!!
Susan is so sweet! She runs her little farm like a champ and made sure we had all we needed to enjoy our stay. We LOVED all of the animals! My kids loved playing at the creek and exploring the grounds. She even brought them some rock painting to do. We were sad to leave and my kids are already begging to go back again. What a treat! An inexpensive and fun place to stay not far from St. Louis. So not only did we all get to enjoy time away from home out in the country, we also got to explore the city for a couple of days. Perfect spring break getaway 💜

A Soul-Softening Experience
Magically relaxing and restorative. Unbelievable moonlight experience with horses passing through the trees as you look at the stars. I have never met such happy donkeys in my life. We will be back very soon.

Staying in the yurt was such an amazing experience! We've camped on Susan's land before but having the coffee machine, beds, hot chocolate, nighttime lights, heater, felt like a spa day on the farm!

The site was amazing as we got to stay in the animal area. All the animals were very nice and happy to come say hi. The site themselves were spaced out between each other and the host was very nice. We were able to purchase firewood from the host and there was a clean outhouse and shower available!
