It was very nice! I have noisy children so I like finding smaller places to camp on Hipcamp. The animals were so fun to be around and my children fit right in! We had so much fun feeding chickens and then we even splashed around in the creek. This host, Alicia was super wonderful. Her family made me and my children feel extremely welcome and at home. I love the intimacy of this place rather than a regular camp ground. There’s campsites way out in the woods by the creek that are nice and secluded as well as sites closer together near the house, by the barns and bathroom. It was laid back and casual so I felt very comfortable. It was like I was staying at a friends house to camp. The host was very helpful and even brought us fire wood. There were lots of good places to make a fire. The kitchen had a wood stove, big sink and Lots of tables. The bathroom was very nice. The shower only had cold water but we weren’t there for very long so it wasn’t an issue for us. It’s a great place to take kids or to just camp in the woods by the creek in private. Highly recommend for people who like casual and light hearted camping.

We went kayaking in the duck pong to fish out some shoes my son threw in the water. The dogs decided to join us! The creek was niceSwinging on the swing Such a beautiful turkey. He came to say good morning

This is our favorite camping spot! Alicia is always a gracious host, and the land is beautiful. They have everything you need, assuring a great stay whether you are a newbie or an experienced camper. We have camped all over the country, and this is the best spot (especially for the money).
We will be back soon, Alicia! Thanks!

Thw place was wondeful. Nice and secluded. Quiet beautiful creek. Farm has pugs, piglets. Dogs, cats, geese, turkeys, ducks ,chicks etc and they were all froendly. Wonderful little pond on site and just a short drive down to anothwr little slough that you can fiah at. Wpild def recommend. The only improvement would be water closer to camp and hot water in thw showers 👍🏻 👍🏻 👌 😃 😊

Beautiful place to camp. I got there when it was dark and Alicia was very helpful making sure I got to the right spot. Its a 20 min drive to the ocean too which was amazing. There was also a walmart within 20 mins which was really important to pick up last minute stuff! Fyi tractor supply sells fire wood. Stop at Bay St. Louis if you get the chance too!

This was a perfect, private getaway and Alicia was an awesome host! The campsites are spread out, the creek is gorgeous, and there is plenty of space to explore and relax. Highly recommend adding on the handmade soap, it smells incredible.
