Amazing! Great place to camp nice and close to Duluth with a bit more privacy than the State Parks can provide. When we arrived they were waiting for us at the end of the driveway, ready to direct us to our parking spot. Greeted us with water and electric hook ups right away and a goodie bag with homemade banana bread, some local coffee, and some snacks! Nice personal space, there were other campers here while we were, but I never saw them. My kids enjoyed the swings that were located around the property and the playset that was there as well. There was noone coming in so we were able to have a late checkout and do a little exploring before we left town. Thank you for the stay!!
Friendly hosts and peaceful place
John was a great host! When we arrived they gave us a cute little gift bag with homemade jam and banana bread. We had the run of the place and it was very peaceful. My husband and I were on our honeymoon and wanted a quiet place to unwind and relax after the busy week and this was the perfect place.
The name fits perfectly
John and Terry have a well cared for HipCamp that is both peaceful and quiet. Friendly, helpful hosts make this a great stopping place for nearby parks and Duluth. We loved their tasty treats from the garden and we would be happy to return.
We had a great time at Peace & Quiet. It was a great spot for campground amenities without all of the people in a really pretty forest setting. The camp host, John was really nice and super helpful, but non-intrusive. We hit Jay Cooke Park a few times for great hiking close by. We would definitely book it again for a relaxing place to camp with the dogs.
