Down Hooting Hollow path you will be nestled in a forest of Scotch Pines, Beech Trees, Red and Black Oaks and the canopy of the forest. The path is well manicured and you will need to hike in your items by bike, foot or wagon, motorized vehicles will not be permitted past the Mayne drive. It's a quick walk to the porta-potty and it is the 2nd campsite off of Mayne St. 2 large tents or 3 small ones can fit on this site. The ground is level and blanketed with leaves and there is one firepit. Wood is available for purchase on premises as we are not allowing wood to be brought in from other locations for the safety of our 40 acres.

We have one shallow pond on the South side of the property (W Holland Lake entrance) with a dock to relax on where you may kayak, paddleboard or wade in to fish with lily pad lure friendly gear. There is a stunning lake on the North side of the property for viewing, relaxing, foraging and listening to the wind through the trees. We do not have access to this body of water. However, as our guests you *DO* have access to the all-sports Perch Lake as well, where motor boats and swimming are perfect! We also have multiple groomed paths for biking, hiking or just exploring.  Our 40 acres is completely private and we will have minimal individuals on the property as we like it to remain private and peaceful.

I camped during Labor Day weekend with my boyfriend and puppy. When we arrived, we parked our car and walked our gear to our camp site (about 1/4 of a mile). There were two wooden camp chairs and a fire pit available and plenty of space. We put up a 6 person tent, a canopy and two hammocks. Sarah was very responsive and friendly throughout the whole process. Very private, scenic spot. We will be back. Other features: firewood to be purchased onsite, small pond to look out at from the trails or to kayak.
