Chickens eggs available as well as Firewood, Noisy rooster will wake everyone at sunrise ! 10 Acres is clearly marked with yellow stakes and orange snow fence, please keep shoes on at all times on the trails and down by the pond.

Leonard was an amazing host— I told him that my group and I would be getting in late, and he actually had a fire started for us when we got there. The site was also very clean and had lots of space, and the pond was beautiful! I will definitely stay here again !
Nice spot and friendly host. Leonard was very welcoming and we had a great night. The fire pit was nestled back in the trees and firewood was provided. The real gem of this property is back in the woods at the tent sites by pond. Very beautiful and remote. Loved to walk back there.
For our 33’ Class C, we stayed by the house, and it was a tight fit but we made it in and out. Do not recommend large rigs drive through the drainage ditch until it is bridged.
Leonard has created a really nice area for travel trailers. Although the street can be busy during the day, the traffic settles down at night. He provides electricity, water, garbage bin and more on a lovely spot close to town. It was a great location for us to get to Arcadia Dunes and the Red Bridge hike. Leonard and his sweet pug made us feel very welcome and we appreciated his relaxed and friendly demeanor (not uncommon for this part of Michigan, so we found). Manistee ended up being a gem and we’re grateful to have stayed on Leonard’s property.
Location is excellent. Five mins from downtown Manistee and Lake Michigan beaches, and a half hour from multiple ORV trail heads in Manistee National Forest. The RV campsites are easy to pull into and the water, electric, and trash are right there. The campsites by the pond are absolutely beautiful, quiet, and secluded. Host is super generous and provided firewood and fresh eggs.
