Melissa was so lovely and accommodating. There was no one else camping when we were there, it was very private and the fire pit and torches were nice touches. There are some trails that were fun to walk our dog in the morning. The portapotty was so clean. :) Would definitely come stay again.
Super cute camping w/ all you need!
Adorable campsite w/everything you need. Well thought out—warm shower & composting toilet (with toilet paper, hand sanitizer, etc) right at your site. Table w/ solar lights, fire pit, tiki torches, private enough to feel alone. Lovely wooded lot. It was quiet & cozy and Melissa was a responsive, communicative, & helpful host. She even told us where to get donuts in the morning. Would stay again!
Nice little set up. The “bathroom” was a composting toilet on one side of a tent and a shower on the other. The water in the shower wasn’t warm enough to take a shower in the 40 degree weather. Would have been ok in summer temps. Overall a nice site.
Nice site, too bad about the noise.
Melissa is very responsive and helpful and made sure that we got located and set up quickly and easily. The campsite is arranged as a pull-through and was easy for our car and small pop-up. It is a well shaded and private site on the edge of a field. A nice table, fire ring and lighted umbrella make it work well for camping. Unfortunately, our canvas sided pop-up was not a good fit for the level of noise from the roads and neighborhood nearby. Sport truck and car acceleration on the nearby road lasted past 2:00 a.m. on the Saturday night we stayed and chainsaw activity kicked off early on Sunday, so we got very little sleep and decided to leave a day early. If you have an RV or hard shell camper, this could be a good choice, but if canvas is your thing you might want to choose something else. Bring a supply of drinking water too, as the water supply is dedicated to the shower setup.
