This site is on the far west of our property close to the access road, yet far from any farm activity. This site sits high on our property and overlooks the farm, orchard, pasture and the neighboring vineyards. It is picturesque in the morning and evening sun. The wind turbines, which are over a mile away, cannot be heard at all.
The property boundaries are clearly marked. We are also a working organic farm, so all boundaries indicated should be adhered to, but you are welcome to explore the property. Feel free to ask about boundaries if we haven't had a chance to instruct you. There are signs and tree markings to indicate private areas and property boundaries.
We are located between the cities of Pentwater and Ludington, where there are shops, breweries, restaurants, and beautiful beaches, including Mears State Park, Pentwater (10 min) and Ludington State Park, Ludington (15 min). Lake Michigan is about 5 minutes due west, and can be accessed from many roadside areas. Please feel free to ask for recommendations!

Peaceful and beautiful!
We had a great time camping here. It was very peaceful and beautiful. The outhouse was well built and clean. The host was great to communicate with and welcoming. Definitely want to return.
This place was incredible. Sunrises that will blow your mind, gorgeous hills and trees, even the windwills were welcomed sights. The campsite area is pretty nice, mowed down area of grass so it's nice for a tent and the fire pit is great. Only thing to note would be the 2-track leading to the road is a little rough for low riding cars and if it's wet you'd want to have 4/awd. The hosts were super friendly, they even sent their children out on an atv to bring us firewood and some butter! 10/10 would recommend, we will definitely be visiting again and again.. and again
Camping like it used to be.
It was camping like it used to be. Lots better than the over-crowded, noisy, light-polluted state/fed. CGs. Very quiet and peaceful. Nice to sit back and watch the wind turbines slowly spinning. Plenty of open space for stargazing.
Had to do a little maneuvering to get my 1 ton, LWB truck into the site, but should be able to park right in the 2 track in front of the site. Next time I'll use the beautiful wooded tent site a couple hundred yards away.
Beautiful, private, & close to town
What a great place to stay!! The site & property was beautiful and we had all that we needed! Carry also had plenty of firewood available at a very generous price. If you're lucky enough to get a clear night, the night sky/star gazing is wonderful.
Very close to to both downtown Luddington & Pentwater.
Wonderful place to stay!
Hibernian Farm was delightful! Super clean and cute and clearly well taken care of. Our site was very private, easy to access, and close to everything we wanted to do! Only about a 5-10 drive minute from a few different Lake MI beaches, and only about 15 min away from downtown Ludington. I would definitely recommend Hibernian Farm, and I would definitely stay there again!
Great site, friendly hosts
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Quiet and comfortable site that gives the feel of rustic camping while still being able to drive right up to your site! Hosts were kind, friendly, and helpful. Highly recommend!
Peaceful nights sleep
Orchard Clearing is a very peaceful campsite. The owners son escorted me to the site which is a grassy clearing in an old orchard. Long range views from the site with some modern windmills, orchard and farm land. If you seek a quiet sleep, this site is for you.
