This property was lovely! Rolling hill surrounded by beautiful forest. Lots of space to play ball with my pup! The camp was also perfectly located about 10 minutes from Sleeping Bear Dunes and 20 minutes from Traverse city! Also very close to Glen Arbor with cute shopping and coffee shops/bars. Such a great place!
Daniel was wonderful and accommodating. The weather was poor my first day so he let me stay an extra night at no cost!
Perfect site near sleeping bear…
Had a wonderful time staying here! We had been traveling through Michigan and stopping to see Sleeping Bear Dunes and was so happy to stumble upon this site on hipcamp. Very private and Dan helped us figure out which site to get to when we got a little confused.
Great little spot
Great little spot near the beach and Glen Arbor! Daniel was a great host and quick to respond to questions. The spot was large enough for our 22 ft van, tables, and chairs with room leftover. The site was flat, but we used a couple of leveling blocks because of the way we were parked. The sites are nicely spaced from each other, so you're not tripping over nearby sites. The drive back to the site (we were #3) was easy and smooth considering you're driving through a field where potholes are inevitable. Take bug spray.
Awesome place to stay! Our campsite was secluded and very private right next to the woods. The property was very beautiful and the host was welcoming and easy to communicate with. Can’t wait to visit again when we go back to Glen Arbor!
This spot was great and I’d highly recommend it! My husband and I stopped for a quick one night stay car camping and had a great time. The spot was in an open grass field - which is perfect for those who want to enjoy a bit of nature - and there was one other campsite on the property. Dan was so helpful along the way -providing us with great directions to find the campsites for ensuring we had a great night’s stay.
