Martin was a delight. The land is lovely - a bit wet still this time of year but that’s to be expected. There are dry areas offered that work well. Right away I was offered a fire and got to chose the location for a freshly dug pit for the ring. The farm has chickens, turkeys, and at least one goat. I have decided to extend my stay a little bit.

I arrived late and Martin let me know that I could stay near the house since they had gotten a lot of rain recently and there was some standing water near the campsite. I didn’t want to risk it and it worked out just fine. Watch the location tag since I did knock on the wrong door initially.
Fantastic piece of land to camp on. The hosts were great. We ended up getting our van stuck after a downpour overnight and Martin was very helpful in getting us unstuck early in the morning. 10/10
Martin was super nice and his voice reminded me of Bob Ross.
The spot wasn’t ready when we got there so we waited while he cleaned it up for us. Then he gave us a dozen eggs for our inconvenience. (Free range chickens everywhere!)
The only two complaints that I would have have nothing to do with Martin.
1. Tons and I am not exaggerating… of mosquitoes!!!
2. I thought I picked the site closest to the port-a-john, but I was mistaken and was in the spot furthest away.
Still- it was only $20 per night & it was our maiden test of the Hipcamp app. I would stay again if I was in the area.
Our group included 6 adults, a 5 y.o, & a 20 month old. Everyone had a great time! We stayed for two nights at site 1 and will most likely be going back again in the future. Martin was an awesome host and was very hospitable to us. ❤️ thank you!
This was a great getaway for my family. We all had so much fun! Martin and his team were very kind and helpful when needed. There was lots of space-area for the kids to explore-and a fire pit for meals and gathering. We had a very good time. ♥️
Martin and his wife Melodee were excellent hosts. We arrived for our reservation much later than expected and he stayed up to graciously guide us to our campsite. We felt safe the whole time and woke up to a beautiful view. They had a lovely property, great recommendations of what to see in town, and the sweetest little farm cats.
