My family loved our camping trip. Very private, unique setting with personal touches like a welcome basket and fresh flowers. The kids love the game room, with games, puzzles, and crafts. The hosts are amazing and make sure you have everything you need. Absolute best glamping experience!

We loved our time at Camp Dubonett- it was exactly what our family needed- 80s style good old fashioned fun. My kids spent hours in the game room painting rocks, playing cards and coloring. I saw a pure happiness that comes from not having technology- it was magical. Also, the numerous wooded paths throughout the farm were perfect for exploring and just magical. That camper was wonderful! It was so cute and so comfortable. So much better than having to actually camp or having to drive an RV- such a wonderful cheat! And the kids could get enough of the goats and horses and the cats and dogs. And Curt and Tim are the best hosts! My kids (7, 11, 12) said that we need to come here every year!

Quick shot of the camper- we loved it!!These are the types of gnomes that Curt and Tim have hidden all over and my kids spent 3 days exploring the woods trying to find all 37- the challenge that was issued them for a reward by the hosts. Kept them so busy!!!More

We loved Camp Dubonett! Tim and Curt thought of everything. From gnomes hidden in the woods, rocks to design/paint, a game room filled with numerous games and puzzles, and a camp store with snacks, toys, and souvenirs for kids, it was a HipCamp to remember (and rebook!) Only 15 minutes from downtown Traverse City and 5 minutes from the Long Lake beaches, it was in a perfect location. Great camp for children. You can't go wrong with this booking!

Tim and Curt were amazing hosts. We loved our time at their place. The property was beautiful. We enjoyed our walks in the woods to the nearby lake, and the game room was a welcome respite from the cold and wet weather we had. The location was also unbeatable for the area. We'd love to return!

I booked this place last minute and was just grateful to have landed a spot at all. I wasn’t expecting too much, just a camping experience close to Traverse City that would be comfortable enough for my Mom to join me. But honestly the description and pictures really don’t do this place justice. The whole property is unbelievably beautiful. There’s an adorable sitting area in the horse barn, and a little game room/patio attached to the main house that has cards, games, hot coffee, DVDs, drinks, snacks and most importantly lovely hosts who are truly thrilled to meet and host guests. Every little nook and cranny feels really welcoming and beautiful. At anytime you can dry up/warm up around the property. The heated bathrooms were a major plus on a cold/wet weekend. My favorite thing was to stroll around the grounds in the morning with a hot cup of coffee, absolutely magical. We stayed cozy in the camper despite freezing temps - I sleep on the twin bed and could watch the stars. I found the camper to be very spacious, well stocked and very clean. We whipped up some pretty delicious meals and love the big fridge/freezer combo. Just outside the camper is a grassy area for tents with some fire rings. I could see this space as a nice getaway for two, big family trip or friend reunion. Either way your lovely hosts Tim and Curt are never too far while giving you your space. They’re relaxed and the best hosts I’ve encountered on all my hipcamp experiences so far (and that’s saying a lot because they’ve all been great). I feel like hospitality is really a calling and not just a side hustle for them. I’m sure anyone would feel safe, comfortable and rejuvenated here.
