What was once formerly the Jepson homestead in the early to late 1800’s is now a private getaway for those looking for the traditional camping experience. The view of the Taconic Mountains, Jiminy Peak and Mt. Greylock will take your breath away!! With open fields and plenty of trails to explore, you’ll have no shortage of exploration. We offer two different listings, so check out to see which one you want to book! One is an open grass field surrounded by woods with 3 campsites. Fire pit provided at each site and firewood available upon request. Pick a spot, pitch your tent and enjoy the trails and nature all around. These sites don’t offer the same view as the mountain top sites, please note this while making booking reservations. Upgrades available if there are open sites. The other ispPeaceful and private 30+ acre property with one of the best views in Southern Vermont. Sitting atop mountains with a gorgeous view of nearby Williamstown, MA,the Taconic Mountain range, Jiminy Peak and Mt. Greylock. Trees, mountains and windmills make up this amazing view. Miles of trails encompass the property and surrounding watershed land allowing ample hiking and biking excursions. Plenty of wildlife to keep you feeling lost in nature as well. Open field sites or in the woods sites available. Firewood available on site for purchase or feel free to gather your own from the dead fall. Mountain Top Getaway
Gorgeous views and separated from the rest of the campsites. We all enjoyed the privacy that the tent site provided. Would come back in a heartbeat.

It’s absolutely gorgeous place to camp if you like dispersed camping. The views is truly million dollar and I can’t appreciate more. I needed something like this and I have found it. It’s a paradise on earth

Mountain Top Getaway
We had a great weekend fall getaway camping on Nick's land! The property is picturesque, with gorgeous views and beautiful fall foliage. We loved the location - super quiet. The surrounding area is great too - nearby to a cute town, stores, hiking trails, etc. Nick was very responsive and gave clear instructions. This was our first Hipcamp experience, and it was a great one!
