I came out to Tir na nOg Farm with my friend and her two young children. It was a perfect experience and a perfect way to introduce the kids to the joys of camping. The Hobbit house was cozy and comfortable, our hosts were welcoming and gracious, and we had a great time meeting all the animals on the farm. We will definitely come again!

Beautiful farm and the hobbit house is absolutely adorable! Holly was very welcoming and showed me around the farm before our stay. I was only able to stay for 1 night and wished I had time to spend the whole weekend. The animals were a major bonus!

This was one of our favorite places we’ve stayed! The hobbit house was so cute and being set back in the woods felt super private and magical. The farm was amazing, we loved hanging with the pigs, chickens, and two sweet dogs, and everyone we met was just lovely. Highly recommend. We will be back!

We enjoyed our stay. The farm was very interesting and we greatly enjoyed the pigs and chickens. After we stayed, we did a little research on the farm and it’s very interesting the program they do, almost like an apprenticeship!

The blow up mattress was pretty rough to sleep on. And it was a hot day in August so I’m very glad we had a battery operated fan.
The staff was very nice.
The path to the cabin was very muddy and hard to walk through.
The cabin itself was very clean and unique!
We’d definitely stay there again.

Response from Holly, the Host, on September 10th, 2021

Thanks for your feedback, Justine. Your stay happened to coincide with our rainiest summer ever, and we have been working hard to keep the woodland path safe even when saturated. Based on your feedback, we laid down a thick layer of woodchips that will provide good footing for future campers. We also checked the mattress--looks like it was overinflated during your stay, so we let a little air out and it seems pretty comfy. We hope you'll visit again and let us know what you think! --Holly at Tir na nOg Farm
