Absolutely the sweetest people!
Best experience I've had, hands down. Robert and Jennifer go above and beyond to welcome you to their land, without making you feel obligated to have a conversation, although I found myself being the one chatting their ear off. Their kindness is something that is rare these days, especially when it's so genuine. They truly are wonderful people that are not interested in just charging you and moving on, I felt like they enjoyed having space to share with others and spreading kindness to whoever is in need. The experience I had meeting them was worth more than a five star hotel. I would choose to stay here over and over. A must visit if you're passing through!
Honestly, this was a truly lovely spot. Robert and Jennifer were so flexible, kind, and welcoming, as were their pups. The mosquitoes could be intense at times, but really weren't too bad (we never used bug spray) and I slept like a baby in the woods but was close to so many beaches and activities. My son wanted to camp there forever and my husband and I plan on booking here again when we come back to Maine next year.
Wow! What a great place to camp. I was just there for a night, but all the details were really nice. Solar lights along paths, plenty of space. Feels almost like a campground!
Great site, not so great neighbors
Robert and Jennifer were very responsive and kind and their property is beautiful and in a convenient location. We did however have trouble with the tent about a dozen yards away when the people staying there started blasting music at 1:30 am. They still kept playing music even after we went over and respectfully asked them to stop. Hopefully whoever stays here next has more considerate neighbors!
