Nice quiet weekend by the water
I spent two nights here with my girlfriend and dog. The camp was exactly what we were looking for. We usually do truck camping and we were able to drive down pretty close to the river to set up camp. The land was beautiful and cleared enough to have plenty of space. The river was too cold this time of year for us to swim but our dog loved it. We found a spot a little down river where it was shallow enough to walk in. The camp was secluded and private and the weather was perfect. We had a great time and would recommend this camp to others.
Stayed here following Hurricane Laura. Due to conditions I did not stay at Retreat ville however Wyatt was happy to let me stay at the entry camp closer to the highway which was ideal as I needed to be closer to the main road though I still found a private place to set up camp. He was also helpful with directions and local information. Many thanks!
