Abundance yurt is surrounded by trees and birds in the Perth Hills, only 30 mins from Perth CBD. The property comes with its own composting toilet and hot outdoor shower, gas cooker and pot belly stove. Suitable for singles or couples, some smaller dogs may be appropriate (please contact Liza to discuss before booking). Other things to note Moonbeams Yurt is situated at the bottom of a 1 acre property, on a large 48sqm decked area. The yurt is 20sqm in size and the composting toilet and shower are within 10 steps from the yurt entrance. The hot water shower is an outdoor shower with a privacy screen. There is NO power at all, but 1 battery powered light is available, and there is a basic gas cooker provided. There is no refrigeration. Parking is at the top of the property and guests will have to walk down a partially sealed path to arrive at the entrance to the yurt, so good mobility is needed. You will need to bring in refrigeration/Eski, lights and basic cooking camp ware. A wheelbarrow can be provided to get gear from car to yurt. A Double bed is provided. Optional extras are fresh bedding. The pot belly stove is great for the winter, and timber is provided for cold nights. We do not recommend booking during our hottest months, unless you love the heat. This property is great for backpackers or people wanting to see the sites of Perth and surrounds. The train line is close by for people who do not have a car. There are many walks and states forests in the area. Yurt Staycation

What a lovely spot for a staycation! Lisa and Dave were so wonderful and helpful when we had difficulties with the pot belly fireplace, came right down and assisted. We will definitely be back. Beautiful spot looking out over the hills. 🛖

Liza was a friendly and welcoming host and the yurt was spacious, clean, and had a lot of privacy. Loved the little platform up the tree where we could sit and enjoy the peaceful surrounds. Easy access to amenities and numerous trails. Thanks Liza!

Peaceful stay at a unique yurt
Moonbeams yurt
I had a really wonderful two nights here. There are some other houses around but it feels secluded and the neighbourgood is beautiful. Cooking with the camp cooker and having the pot belly stove on was super cozy and wasn't too cold inside. This is such a good option for the feel of camping but way more convenient and sheltered. The outdoor shower and tree house were also great. Lisa the owner is very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend this yurt.

Great for dog owners

Great for a quick, well priced stopover in suburbia. We had a 10month old pup and he loved playing with the owners dog and he was allowed in the yurt.

Staycation Yurt! :)
Moonbeams yurt
Close enough to everything if you need it, but far enough to feel like you've escaped the city. :) Private, lots of birds and a cute puppo that likes to say goodmorning. The tree house, swing and the cards were a nice surprise! Definitely entertaining and just what the doctor ordered. Yurts are a big part of my husbands culture so he found the experience quite nostalgic, too. Thank you having us. :)

Thanks you Liza, for a lovely little get-away. It was just what the doctor ordered. My 10yo son loved the tree house, rope swing and Kobe! Moonbeam yurt is simple but comfortable (the bed was so comfy) with all the essentials you need for a relaxing stay. The area was a little bit more urban, with a bit more traffic noise and such than I was expecting, but it still felt peaceful and private. We explored the local area a little (the Roley Pools Trail is beautiful), but spent a lot of our time reading, drawing and relaxing around the yurt. Would definitely recommend staying during milder weather (Spring or Autum). We had ideal sunny but cooler weather (low 20's) and it was delightful. The middle of Summer or Winter might not be as nice. It is a pretty steep walk from the yurt back up to the car park. Be prepared for a bit of a workout pushing the wheelbarrow or lugging your gear back up the hill. We did bring a fair bit of extra stuff with us though! We loved the yurt. My son was asking when we can go again before we even drove out of the driveway.

I recently took my daughter and our puppy on a glamping trip, and it was truly an experience to remember. The glamping site was nestled in a beautiful natural setting, surrounded by lush greenery that immediately put us at ease. The tent itself was spacious and cozy, with all the comforts we needed, blending the thrill of camping with the convenience of modern amenities. My daughter absolutely loved the adventure—exploring nature we love to come again!

Had a very enjoyable experience at Moonbeam. Great views and Lisa is a lovely person. The Yurt is very sturdy and in a sheltered location no issues even during a very windy night.

Very peaceful and we loved the pot belly fireplace. The yurt had everything we need and we only brought food and an extra lantern. Lisa was a lovely host and it was an easy relaxing stay.

We loved staying at Lisa’s yurt. Close enough to Perth city for a one night trip away but the location among the Perth Hills feels like a city escape. The yurt is even more homely and cosy than described and the pot belly stove was a very welcome addition for the cold night. Communication with Lisa was perfect. Would love to return here, thank you Lisa!

I loved the coziness and cuteness of the yurt, something completely different for a staycation in the Perth hills! The bed was super comfy and having a toilet and outdoor shower was fab! There’s something about an outdoor shower which makes you feel invigorated. It is close to some fabulous spots to visit in the hills which makes for a great base. It would’ve been great to have the potbelly fire to cosy up to but we didn’t need it as it wasn’t cold enough. Liza the host was friendly and welcoming and then left us to it, giving us our privacy. We had A great little stay in the yurt.

As much as I would like to keep this gem to myself I must sing it's praises. Host is ALWAYS welcoming with wood for the pot belly stove. Amenities included, it really is clamping at its finest!

Gorgeous location. Lisa was an amazing host: excellent communication, welcome, explanation of facilities. Accommodation and facilities were fabulous. Stylised for comfort and relaxation with a comfortable bed, beautiful view and essentials. We will return.

I loved staying in the yurt at Lisa’s property - I came for a break from the hustle and bustle of life and got exactly that. Enjoyed a warm welcome from Lisa and her lovely dog and a fantastic overnight stay. Comfortable bed, warm shower under stars and lovely outlook over the hills. I will definitely be back!
