Twisted Willow is a 15-acre property situated approx 3.5km from Albany city centre and approximately 3.5- 4 km to Middleton Beach and Emu Point. We currently run self-contained cottages on the property, although we have a lovely spot in the far corner of the property that we can offer for a fully self-contained caravan or RV. The site offers these guests views of a large lake equipped with kayaks, a paddleboat, and 6 acres of landscaped grounds. This central but peaceful location allows you to enjoy everything that Albany offers; Beaches, amazing hiking, history, fishing, bike riding, and more.Drive to the back left corner of the property where you can park your van overlooking the lake. You'll find a lovely level grassed area with plenty of space for your RV or self-contained caravan. Have a picnic around the dam, paddle in the boats and kayaks, or just simply relax and enjoy. We do not offer toilet or shower facilities, so you must be completely self-contained, with your own camp loo and we kindly ask you take all waste when you go. Your RV site is spacious and private, however we do have other guests staying in our cabins on the property. Please respect all, and no noise or guests after 9pm.

Lovely spot, very private. The grounds are beautiful and peaceful depending on what time it is, the kennels nearby can be noisy I guess that depends on how busy they are. Saw lots of birds and the stars were amazing too.

They only allow one vehicle on site at the moment. The area is the most beautiful and tranquil setting even though you are almost in Albany. Only short distances to town centre and to the beaches. However it was the lake, the trees and the bird life that made our stay.

Beautiful quiet campsite in a garde
We really liked the campsite. You stand alone in the garden of the Twisted Willow Cottages. The cost per night is expensive - due to the remote location and tranquility, you'll pay over $60 for an unpowered campsite. The price-performance ratio could be better. The garden is beautifully landscaped and we saw lots of birds and wild animals.

Perfect place to explore albany. Gardens and area lovely and well cared for. Tight turn in if your coming from the highway, we ended up in the next yard. If you like to sleep in beware there is a dog kennel next door and depending on the dog's staying over it can be noisy in the morning. But apart from that ,Perfect.
