Twisted Willow is a 15-acre property situated approx 3.5km from Albany city centre and approximately 3.5- 4 km to Middleton Beach and Emu Point. We currently run self-contained cottages on the property, although we have a lovely spot in the far corner of the property that we can offer for a fully self-contained caravan or RV. The site offers these guests views of a large lake equipped with kayaks, a paddleboat, and 6 acres of landscaped grounds. This central but peaceful location allows you to enjoy everything that Albany offers; Beaches, amazing hiking, history, fishing, bike riding, and more.

Site 2 situated at the left backend of the property overlooking the lake. Total of 2 hipcamp sites on the property...so if you arrive 1st be considerate when parking up that you leave room for another possible camper. Twisted Willow is a 15 acre property situated approx 3.5km from Albany city centre and approximately 3.5-4km to Middleton Beach and Emu Point. Drive to the back left corner of the property where you can park your van overlooking the lake. You'll find a lovely level grassed area with plenty of space for your RV or self-contained caravan. Please note we do allow 2x hipcampers the property so be considerate when parking up allowing room for possible other camper. There is plenty of space For some reason the location pin on map wont pin on our property our address is 219 Ulster Rd, Albany WA 6330 Twisted Willow cottages Have a picnic around the dam, paddle in the boats and kayaks, or just simply relax and enjoy. We do not offer toilet or shower facilities, so you must be completely self-contained, with your own camp loo and we kindly ask you take all waste when you go. Your RV site is spacious and private, however we do have other guests staying in our cabins on the property. Please respect all, and no noise or guests after 9pm.

Kelly’s site is a beautiful space of tranquility with a lake you can sit beside and lose time. The site is plenty big enough and with only two campsites you are never in each others space which is lovely. Kelly was great on communication too

Such a cute little spot! Beautifully maintained grounds (we felt bad driving on their well manicured lawn to get to our site!), and the birdlife was just magic, especially the resident goose! We will definitely be back 🙏

This place is a credit to the owners. Every little detail adds a peaceful and tranquil view. The lawns are beautifully manicured and it feels private and looks peaceful, however the dog boarding kennel next door spoils the peaceful feel with the constant barking. This could be such a magical place but sounds of dogs constantly barking ruins the tranquil stay the owners have tried to achieve.

Really cute and peaceful RV spot! The garden was beautiful and well cared for, and we loved having the privacy—it felt secluded and relaxing. Would definitely stay again!

This place was so beautiful and lush, heaps of room and activities for the kids. The only downfall was the dog kennel next door with dogs waking us early!

Twisted Willow grounds were immaculate and it was very peaceful, only two sites but very spacious . Would stay here again as it was a short drive into town

We loved our stay at Twisted Willow. The green grass and beautiful lake are a gorgeous setting. But it’s the little things like the playground, chess, paddle boats that made it for our family. Thank you!

Lovely spot. Kelly was very easy to deal with and really helpful. Plenty of room and great location near town but felt semi rural. Dog kennel next door was a sometimes a bit noisy at night (one howling dog) but generally ok. Area is completely grassed and fantastic outlook over a lake and beautiful parkland. Plenty of room for 2 vans in the area we were.

Wow…what a GEM of a camp site. Parked up over looking the beautiful lake on a wonderfully landscaped property. It was peaceful and very relaxing. It was so close to Albany where you can explore the nearby walks, beaches, cafes and sites. I would highly recommend staying here.

We loved this spot so much. Felt very secluded yet close to town - perfect location for our stay at Albany! Loved setting up next to the water and the play equipment was the best part for the kiddos. 10/10 would recommend. Thanks Kelly for the great stay!

Amazingly beautiful parklike gardens and lake with wildlife. Close to town. You could hear dogs barking but not to bad. Would definitely go back

Beautiful setting , totally private, loved the friendly goose! Watching the birdlife around the lake was amazing! Slight negative as said in previous reviews is the kennels next door.

Stayed for 3 nights Australia Day Weekend. Property a credit to the hosts. Beautiful grounds with manicured lawns , dam and abundance of birdlife. Access to site great, towed a 16 foot van in and out no problem. The only negative - Dog kennels neighbour the property. Excessive barking throughout the day.

Thank you Kelly for a beautiful spot! It was out first time camping with the kids and with our new camper. We couldnt have picked a more perfect spot to test everything out. The grounds were well kept and plenty of games and space for the kids to explore. The boats were also a kicker for the kids! Thanks again, we had such a great stay!

The grounds are immaculate and very tastefully laid out. Ample privacy between campers and the cottages. Ideal location to access Albany and the surrounding area. However, sadly this property is adjacent to dog kennels and was noisy from early morning through to the evening with constant barking. Unfortunately not very relaxing when you are trying to enjoy the beautiful surroundings and local wildlife!

A really beautiful spot. So serene and our kids love the duck!! He was friendly and fun to be around. If I had any complaint it would have to be the animal boarding next door. I know there is nothing they can do about this, but the dogs barking constantly really takes away from the beauty that twisted willow provides.

What a great spot! Beautiful lake with paddle boat, playground for the kids, large grass area to run around. We loved it so much we stayed for 2 extra nights! Ollie the friendly goose made our stay extra special. Only downside is dog kennel in the adjacent property can be quite noisy in the morning, but quite down for the rest of the day. This place will also be perfect for travelling with other family/friends who don’t own a caravan as they also offer chalet stay. Thanks Kelly for hosting us 😊 we hope to come back in the next year

Such a beautiful oasis so close to town! The paddleboat and sunrise were the highlight for us. We had an amazing stay, thanks for having us! 🥰
