Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
125 acre property with 70 acres of untouch bush. Choose you own cleared bush plot to the east or upgrade for the Dam and Yabby experience. (Only avaliable while owners are onsite) Must be completely sell sufficient and take/remove all refuse when you leave. Fires are strictly banned during prohibited periods, in Winter small fires allowed in designated fire rings.

A relaxing site between the Windmill and Dam. This is in a working paddock; however, the sheep won't bother you! Occasionally you may get a visit from the Horses who are friendly and love a pat, but please don't feed them anything. Swim, Kayak, bushwalk Fresh eggs available $5 per dozen. Lamb also available, Fresh by request or Snap frozen subject to availability

Nice peaceful place to go to, owners were very nice and welcoming, got a visit from the horses and sheep very friendly and let us pat them

Quiet & Peaceful

Really enjoyed our 2 nights here on our own, no other campers. Very quiet and peaceful with occasional visits from beautiful horses and sheep. The dam looked nice but we didn't swim and didn't catch any yabbies, never mind. Maybe next time.

I was there for the purpose of birdwatching which turned out to be excellent (32 species along the adjacent roads) however in being asked if I would recommend it to others, I could not enthusiastically do so with three dead sheep close to the camp site and the pervading smell of sheep manure. I could deal with this for my purposes, but I imagine others may not want to especially with kids. Also, upon arrival, there was no one home and it was up to me to ask how to get in through the locked gate. If I had received a message with the gate code before arrival, it would have saved a lot of messing about towing a caravan around in a low-internet reception area. It has the potential to be good.

Farm camping at the dam.

We loved the camp site at the damn on Brent’s land. A great site with plenty of bird life. A good sized fire pit supplied to help you keep warm, in the winter months when there are no fire bans in place. The site is sufficiently level and was big enough for our 20’ van. Not much more space for anyone else but that suited us perfectly. Directions and communication from Brent was spot on. 15 min drive into Beverley for supplies if needed but if you’re going over a weekend be reminded that almost everything is closed from 12pm on a Saturday. We can highly recommend this HipCamp - well certainly be back.

Relaxing and peaceful in Autumn

This is a peaceful and scenic spot to stay. We were there during mid-Autumn, so would expect to everything to be greener, more water in the dam, early Spring. Will definitely need to return during the flower season. Brent, the host, was there to meet and greet us, and kept in regular contact during our stay. This added a great personal touch. Thanks, Brent

Peaceful and scenic camping spot

Great couple of nights at this property, a working farm, not far from the town of Beverley. Great communication beforehand and easy access to our site. Host welcomed us on arrival and provided plenty fire wood, $20/bag (large enclosed fire pit on site). Lovely little dam to set up next to, right beside the beautiful barley crops and a little windmill. Kids kayaks provided, and we had our SUP as well, ours of fun for our 6yr old, and the host's son came by for a play 😊 So quiet and peaceful, just the sound of the birds. Very private as well, which we like. No neighbours in site. Thanks for having us Brent!

Nice spot next to the Dam, caught a few yabbies, beautiful drive out from Perth too. Brent was a nice friendly host and easy to deal with.

Easy and clear instructions on how to get there. Brent visited and was great to have a chat to. He had recommendations of places to visit if we wanted to go be tourists. A great place for some relaxation!

Great spot beside the dam to relax for the weekend. Brent made us feel very welcome and came down for a chat. It was nice to see the animals and they were all friendly. Will definitely go back!

Great spot by dam.. Nothing to do (unless you wanted to) but soak up the peace and quiet... Highly recommend it....

A quite rural farm setting by the dam. Kids went swimming,kyaking and yabbying. Brent and kirsten supplied us with a couple of kyacks. Great people to have a chat with and went all out to make sure we enjoyed our stay. Thanks Brent, Kirsten and family.

Great spot. Brent helped us out finding a nicer spot to camp when allot of the farm was underwater from the rain. Located close to Beverley and Brookton and some nearby attractions like Deep Pool. Great stay.
