Pucker Farm Animal Sanctuary is situated in the Wheatbelt Southwest - set up in January 2015 to initially house 26 sheep, 2 goats & 2 Maremma Guardian Dogs who were being made to feel less and less welcome in the burgeoning & busy city of Perth. They have now settled in very nicely and been substantially added to with cows, horses, donkeys, pigs, an alpaca, many more sheep, ducks, turkeys, chickens & last but not least fish. We are situated on a 138 acre farm, the farmhouse being one of the original pioneering buildings in Kondinin dating back to the beginning of the 1900s. It was built from bricks from the brick works that was situated on the property. It is on a high spot of Kondinin, with vistas extending out to Kondinin Salt Lake & the surrounding paddocks. The sun can be seen rising & setting over the horizon, which are very special moments of each day. Take a 1/2 hour walk around the property, checking out the old Shearing Shed, the site of the 1900s brickworks, granite outcrops, the vintage rubbish tip, the small forested area, the dam, and vintage shed & machinery. Toilet & shower available inside the house, but there are no outdoor camping facilities. Pet friendly. Water available. Campfires permitted in designated areas at permitted times of the year. Bring carrots if you want to feed the animals.Basically you can park wherever you like (obviously providing you can access it with your vehicle). On the property there is a dam, a tiny forest area, a rocky outcrop area - many different terrains and vistas to choose from. Please note there are no outdoor camping facilities here so you will need to be self-sufficient for one of these sites.

Lisa’s property was a beautiful place to stay. We enjoyed a stunning sunset with the site all to ourselves aside from the gorgeous farm animals. Lisa is lovely and very easy to communicate with and her farm easy to get to. We would definitely stay again!

Stunning property great hospitality
We really enjoyed our time. The property was beautiful and we camped up in a paddock by ourselves and watched the sunset. Lisa was very hospitable and took us around the farm to share history and meet all the animals. We would thoroughly recommend staying here.

We had a fabulous stay at Lisa’s. We picked a beautiful spot down by the trees and saw a beautiful sunset surrounded by all her gorgeous animals. Lisa was very hospitable and we loved having a tour of the place in the morning and learning the history of Pucker Farm. Thanks Lisa!

Pucker Peaceful paddock
Peaceful Paddock! we enjoyed one night stay as a thoroughfare to Esperance, on on this peaceful animal sanctuary. We had plenty of space and privacy on the farm and we chose a shaded spot aside the bush in the lower paddock. There were friendly sheep, horses and three cows that freely roamed, the vast open space. The children thoroughly enjoyed hand feeding a bucket of carrots to the farm animals in the morning, alongside with our host and farm guide, Lisa. She explained the purpose of the farm is rehoming of abandoned animals and the joy that she takes for caring for them. She is a great host and takes pride caring for the animals.
