We loved our stay at Murray Farm Stay. Hosts were so friendly welcoming us and showing us around and excellent communicators. The site is really private and has the best fire pit. Being able to walk to and from Dwellingup town through the state forest in 10-15 minutes was a highlight. It's definitely more expensive than most hipcamps but the amenities of the bush shack with a large family and a baby made it a very comfortable stay. The traffic noise during the night was a bit more than I expected but wasn't too intrusive. We would love to visit again, even my non-camping family members would come back.

A peaceful and beautiful spot. The kids loved the animals, roasting marshmallows on the fire and the stroll into town. The amenities makes for a comfortable stay. Our second time staying and enjoyed just as much. Thank you Alison.

We loved our stay at Murray farm, the kids enjoyed the space and interacting with the animals and the adults loved the peace and quiet of the camp on a busy long weekend in Dwellingup. It was also great to be in walking distance of all the local attractions, thank you for providing such a great place to stay and the rustic amenities were an added bonus

We had such a great Easter Long weekend staying at the Pleasant Tree site. The kids loved seeing the Animals every day. It was so nice and peaceful at night with the stars, not being crammed into a caravan park with everyone else. Alison and Rob are great hosts too!

It was lovely being so private and having the added luxury of the hot shower and composting toilet while camping. Kids loved sharing the paddock either the goats, alpacas and sheep and had fun on their bikes with lots of space. We’ll definitely be back, thanks for having us!

We had a great time! A lovely blend of bush charm with modern comforts.
No stress around food with the town center a 3 minute drive away, and the site has everything you need (bbq, crockery, etc). In addition to the bbq there’s a toilet and (hot!) shower. Almost glamping!
It was nice sitting with a cup of coffee, just watching the goats, sheep, and alpacas wandering the paddocks.

Perfect place to get away from the city, only an hour south-east of Perth. Beautiful sunsets surrounded by trees and paddock, definitely feels like a very exclusive and private space. We came here for our honeymoon so really appreciated the peaceful getaway.
Alison and Rob were super responsive with any of our questions and ready with recommendations for food in Dwellingup.

This is a beautiful little piece of land. My son and I stayed here for a two night "boys camping trip" and really loved it. My son loved the goats and sheep and we enjoyed the walkable distance through the forest to town.

We recently spent a weekend at The Pleasant Tree Site at Murray Farm Stay in Dwellingup, and overall, it was a fantastic experience. The campsite is nestled deep in the woods, surrounded by trees and nature, which provided a peaceful and serene atmosphere. It’s a perfect spot for nature lovers and anyone looking to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
The site is located an hour drive from Perth CBD. The direction was straight forward.
My only critique is that the Gas BBQ Grill was not clean enough but luckily we carries our own small gas burner with hot plate. Additionally, the camping table could use some improvements, but it's not a deal-breaker if you're okay with more rustic options.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay in the site.

We loved our stay at Alison’s farm. She was a great host who accommodated to our group well. The place is very secluded with plenty of shade, although it can get a bit hot in the afternoon, but ofc it was the summer. So we would definitely try to come back in the winter. This campsite had everything you need, from Cutleries, pots and pans, plates cups, even a first aid and a whopping fridge as well. Definitely a great spot if you have picky family members. The goats seemed to be fed by previous campers, so they will go through your stuff to look for food. They were quite friendly tho and will sit next to you in your convos:) We were greeted by Rob at the end, to see if everything went well. Overall I highly recommend this place….😊

We had a wonderful night stay at the Murray Farm Stay hosted by Alison and Rob. Communications and directions were very clear & easy getting to the property and campsite to set up.
Campsite was absolutely stunning with plenty of flat space to set up and watch the scenery surrounding. We especially loved getting to know the friendly farm animals & sitting under the stary night.
The kitchen was perfect for anything we may have forgotten to bring with us.
Such a luxury to have a warm shower at the end of the day with a beautiful rustic set up.
Looking forward to visiting again!

Very calming and relaxing glamp site.
It was easy to access and perfect lighting to set up in the dark. Beautiful place to wake up. Birds a plenty. Bathroom facilities fantastic.
Only neg is no tea spoons (very minor), coffee in the jar was rock hard and could have done with long life milk in fridge. Oh and an empty ice tray. ( ice tray is 1 of my pet hates, why have an ice try if you don’t have ice ready for the guests?)

Great camping spot about 15 mins walk through the trees into Dwellingup.
Rustic tin shed with a great gas water shower and compost toilet. Power, lighting, microwave and Fridge/freezer to use. Cups, cutlery, wine glasses.
A few pet/farm animals keeping you company, and especially a very friendly goat. Would recommend.

Beautiful scenery and a lovely place to camp for my 3 days. I appreciated a hot shower at the end of the day and having a fridge was helpful as it was around 30 degrees. Due to the heat, I think, the compost toilet was a little smelly due to the heat so wish it wasn’t next to the kitchen. It would be ok if it was cooler. Being in nature I didn’t appreciate the sound of trucks and motorbikes on the nearby road but on the third day there was less traffic for some reason. I think that most people would still find this site very comfortable and the nature is exceptional.

This place has great facilities and is very accessible. It was beautiful camping under the trees and waking up with the animals roaming around.
We enjoyed being able to have a late season fire, although the time restrictions made a slow cooked roast a challenge.
My only concern was at times the road noise was intrusive, but it did not interfere with sleeping and we had delightful weather and starry skies to enjoy. The communication with Alison was minimum but helpful

Great setup. Lots of Cockatoos feeding in the trees above us, a few orchids in the bush. Made plenty of lemonade with the free lemons and we even got to watch the Alpacas get shorn. Will likely be back. Cheers
