Our 125 Acre property backs onto the Porongurup National park in the great southern region of Western Australia. The cottages have views to the western end of the Ranges. The cottages are located roughly 500 meters off from the road giving guests peace and quiet. All the Porongurup range walks are within 10 mins drive, The stunning and most famous sterling Ranges (Bluff Knoll) is a short 45 min drive, as are the coastal towns of Albany and Denmark. We have many awarded wineries on our doorstep and there are also some wonderfull places to have lunch and or Dinner (Limited opening days)Carnaby, sleeps 3, quiet, secluded and Private . Our 125 acre property backs onto the Porongurup Ranges, with views from the cottages and north to the Sterling ranges, (40 min drive), The Granite Skywalk is a short drive from the property. Views are spectacular from the top, south to Albany and North to The Sterling Ranges.
The cottages are located over 500 meters back from the road on our farm, allowing guests to enjoy the peace and quiet. Our other 2 cottages are Kestrel (adults only Sleeps 6) and Boobook (sleeps 4)
The space The two cottages Carnaby and Boobook are approximately 70 meters apart and nearly 200 meters away from Kestrel, our Adult spa retreat and also your host, meaning you can enjoy the space, peace, and quiet of this beautiful area. (We have a small herd of Dexter cows and can locate them if you want to meet them, Come and say Hi to our friendly bull Gnome and give him a comb, he adores a good brush). We keep and breed our own chickens and try to live on the land as much as possible in an organic way (although not certified). There are many walks, boutiques, and award-winning wineries in the area, There are many hiking trails Through the national park and also up and around the Sterling ranges. We get some spectacular double rainbows, full moons, sunrises, and sunsets, and also the stars at night will astound you.
Guest access You are free to wander parts of the property and from the top paddock, there are spectacular views of the Sterling ranges. Please be aware some fences may be electrified, gates are not, but please keep them closed, livestock on the property. (we have 3 dams on the property and they must not be entered)
Other things to note Prices are based on 2 people and 1 room, If 2 rooms are required, an additional person levy is applied, $30 per night for Carnaby and Boobook, Kestrel cottage attracts a $50 per night fee if an additional room is required. STRICTLY NO VISITORS permitted on site
