We had an absolutely fantastic stay this past weekend! The dome was even better than expected beautifully maintained, private, and surrounded by peaceful nature, making it the perfect spot to relax and recharge. The Scott & Catherine were incredibly welcoming and made sure everything was set up for us to have a stress-free getaway.

Friendly host, lovely scenery, bush walks and lake views. Would definitely go back again and would recommend it.
Sitting on the deck overlooking the dam of an afternoon listening to the birds, watching the kangaroos eat and the sunset was a lovely way to end each day.

We loved camping in our camper trailer on the Lake (unpowered). Directions were very thorough which is always great. When we got there, Scott came and gave us the low down and made us feel right at home. Our daughter loved the Kangaroos and Chickens. Definitely recommend.

My partner and I had a very small window to organise a getaway after some previous plans fell through and oh boy are we glad we found this place! Our goal was to relax in nature and this is the perfect place for that. Scott greeted us on arrival and facilitated an easy set up for us, once our tent was up we could just sit back and take in the views! We stayed maybe 100m or so from their homestead, and another couple of occupied spots were in view but we still felt incredibly secluded. Our favourite aspect may have been eating our meals out on the jetty overlooking the massive lake, or maybe taking a picnic out into the walking trial right next to where we camped, or maybe it was also the super cute kangaroos scattered around the property! Too many beautiful moments, we'll definitely want to return and would recommend this place to everyone and anyone! Heads up the best reception you may get is for texts, no data, but any reason to put the phone down is a good one, especially with the views we had!

Beautiful peaceful setting right on the lake. Lots of ducks, kangaroos and bird life.
Scott and Katherine went out of their way to accommodate us; very friendly people.
10/10 and would highly recommend this campsite to anyone looking for an out of the way place to relax

Lakeside Camping at Running Gully is a beautiful place. Very peaceful and quiet.
Scott and Catherine are brilliant hosts. If you want to be secluded and left alone they will ensure you have privacy. If like us you are interested in the property, they will tell you all about it. We were even treated to a viewing of their own amazing log cabin on the site which Scott has crafted himself.
Catherine feeds a family of wild Kangaroos each evening, which she invited us a d our children to see, amazing to see how well the roos have taken to her. One of them got a bit angry and kicked one of the younger roos but a quick snap from Catherine got him back into line. Ha
She also took the kids to feed the chickens and allowed them to pick lemons and oranges.
There are two campsites and one pod/dome structure, all very spread out with lots of room and great lake views.
Although only 2 actual campsites Scott and Catherine are very flexible and accomodating. We plan to visit again with elderly parents who will stay in the dome whilst we pitch up our camper next to them. If you have a group of families wanting to stay somewhere together reachout to Scott and Catherine I am sure they will help set you up.
To top it off one evening, i had no beer so was about to set off to the nearest shop about 20-25 mins away however to save me the trouble Scott offered me some of his own beers!!
Great hosts, you won't regret a stay here.

This was an absolutely stunning stay! The dome itself was comfortable, very clean, luxurious in terms of aircon and all amenities (fully set up kitchen!?), and had great shower. The location was incredible - I cannot overstate how picturesque this place was! We saw Roos everyday, flocks of black cockatoos, could walk around the property, sit on the jetty near the lake, and still nip into Pemberton/ Manjimup for lunch! Hosts were super lovely and helpful and this has shot to one of our favourite getaways!

Communication was good, directions well explained and signs around showing the way. The track through the woods has one tight spot. ( my Ranger towing 23ft) is about the limits. The power offered is through a 10amp socket. The ground is on a slight slope. Not a problem with ramps. Once set up the view overlooking the dam looks amazing. The only sounds around, you are birds and wind rustling the leaves. Kangaroos visit in the evening. There is a toilet in Quinningup about 5min drive away if needed. Scott welcomed us and helped show us where to park our van. There is a nice walk in the woods and a nice deck over the lake.
We will be returning for another long weekend in the future.

Scott and Katherine are amazing hosts! Their home is beautiful and their hospitality was straight from the heart. We enjoyed our time there to unwind and connect with nature. The birds, animals and wildlife live as one with the property and make you feel as part of the tribe. The lake was one of the highlights for us. It provided refreshing swims and beautiful sights throughout the day. We would love to come back! ❤️

A relaxing long weekend spent lakeside, surrounded by beautiful forrests and wildlife. A secluded setting with only 2 campsites available. Ideally located between Manjimup and Pemberton. The property owners, Scott and Catherine, were very welcoming and friendly. Would highly recommend.

Wow, an amazing secluded property...just the birds, frogs and giant karri trees as your neighbours plus a few semi-tame roos coming in a for feed most nights.
The lake views are sensational...especially at sunset as the trees seem to glow as the sun hits them low in the afternoon.
Easy access and good signage.
Will definitely be back again.
