We are closed from 1 Dec through to 31 March due to High Fire Risk. Our 43-hectare property is on the edge of the Darling Scarp behind the historical Fairbridge Village. Only 1 hour south of Perth, so it is close enough for a quick weekend getaway but far enough to enjoy the silence of the bush. There are elevated campsites with views west towards Mandurah and the Peel Estuary, northwest views toward Perth City, and three dams on the property. Guests must be fully self-contained, as no toilets or showers are available. Just amazing views :) Some locations are suitable for tents only, and some for caravans only. 4WD/AWDs are recommended as most sites are not easily accessible with a 2WD vehicle, especially during winter. Dog friendly. Campfires are permitted in designated areas with the host's approval (depending on fire restrictions). We are closed over the summer period due to increased fire risk.

We stayed at Honeymoons campground, which sits high near the top of a hill and offers absolutely stunning views. Unfortunately, we visited at the wrong time of year. The long grass and burrs were everywhere, which was tough on our two border collies, and the flies were quite full-on. We also had our 6-month-old baby with us, which made the conditions even more challenging. We had unexpectedly strong winds overnight that hadn’t been forecast—likely because the nearest weather station is too far away to reflect the hilltop conditions accurately. The standout, though, was the owners. They were extremely kind, helpful, and understanding, and they refunded our remaining nights without any hesitation, which we really appreciated. It’s a gorgeous location and could be fantastic at a different time of year, but for us—with dogs and a young baby—the conditions just weren’t ideal on this visit.

Bush Camp
I loved caravaning at Hill Tree Farm. It is a beautiful property with (environmentally) friendly hosts, undulating hills, trees and much birdlife. I had the best night's sleep there as it's so quiet and the campsites are far apart. We will definitely return.

Big open area for a group, or nice and private if by yourself. Flies were a little friendly, but that's expected this time of the year. Awesome quick get away for the weekend. Will be back again so i can purchase somefresh eggs. 😆 Highly recommended.

Me and my partner stayed at the Honeymoons site and originally booked 2 nights but extended to a 3rd night. It’s a beautiful private spot up on the hillside, well away from others. The track in was pretty easy. We have an RTT with small trailer but anyone with basic 4WD skills could tow a small to medium maybe even large caravan in no worries. It’s pretty close to Mandurah for a day trip or for the long term travelers to get some stuff done. Hosts are really down to earth genuine people. Seen emus, Roos, red tail blacks. Highly recommend.

Had a lovely 2 night stay at jacaranda hill. Communication was great, check in was easy, and so were the directions to our site. Redgum water has a really lovely outlook and far enough away from other sites to be private. Take some ramps for your camper as the site is not level. The farm fresh eggs were great too. We bought our own toilet so didn't check out the facilities.. Thanks. Had a great stay.

Jacaranda Hill is the most beautiful farm. The perfect time of year, wonderful and green. Honeymoons is my favourite spot so far, nearish to the city but once you're set up it's fantastically quiet and peaceful. Robert and Sarah have a real gem here and I'm really grateful to be able to camp with the intention of bringing the grand kids next time... Thanks.

Bush Camp
We could only get away for few nights so needed something close to home, but still felt far away enough away from the city. We loved camping at Jacaranda Hill - bushcamp site. Had the dam for kayaking all to ourselves. Loved the beautiful sunsets and being able to have a fire. Spoilt with so many beautiful birds - especially the red-tailed black cockatoos. Will be back!
