Basic toilet/ bathroom facilities with nice hot showers. Walking distance to Coconut Well Lagoon which I highly recommend as an experience while there, which is also pet friendly and great for kids. When the tide is out the rock pools are wonderful to explore.
Higgins Farm caretaker Michelle was awesome. After we had what we thought was a family emergency, they offered to extend us nightly with no commitment, and even offered to keep our van there should the need to fly back the UK occur.

Great spot close to Broome but doesn’t have you packed in like the caravan parks. Multiple areas to set up and space yourself out. 900m walk down to the beach for sunset was handy. Bush camp style toilets and showers are handy. Would definitely stay here again if passing through the area. If visiting with a caravan, I suggest following the driveway around to the left of the house, if you turn right at the house you’ll hit the mango trees that overhang the road but once down the bottom after going left you can easily pull in near or under the trees
Easy to find, directions were easy to follow. That's where the good stuff ended. A large flat paddock with sand whipping everywhere. No drive track to beach as advertised, but an ok 10 minute walk. I didn't dare use the toilets after using the filthy showers with no warm water and only the light you take up with you. Two showers in one room with shower curtain on each, no problems really except they are unisex. Not sure how the teenage girl felt about it. Property is under offer however it has been neglected for a very long time.
We were happy with the location to Broome & there is plenty of oom to spread out, however the pictures that advertise Higgins Farm are not accurate at all!! It is a major dust bowl, no grassy spots although they must have had at some stage as there are sprinkler pipes.
We never set eyes on Warren the host, but Michele came every night to check on us.
The walk to the lagoons was much longer than indicated on the ad, over 1 km.
On our last of 8 nights, we were told the farm stay will be finished by November, so that probably is the reason for lack of care of the camping area.

For what you pay $66 per night it was a dusty paddock full of prickles. Our dogs got covered in bindies. The toilets although were old were never cleaned or stocked of toilet paper in the 3 days we were there. Definitely not up to standard for that price!!!

Absolutely loved our stay at Higgins Farm! 🌿🐾
A huge paddock where you can choose your own spot, peaceful and quiet, and just a short walk to the beach. 🏖️ It’s also dog friendly, with water available if needed.
Only **25 minutes from Broome**, making it a great spot if you want to be close to town but still enjoy a relaxed country stay.
We’d definitely stay again! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Directions and signage not the best. Finally found the Farm after asking locals (they were unsure as well). Host not on site when we arrived. The site did not look like the photo showing road and camping area and ocean. Host didn’t reply after texting requested details 2 days prior.
Compared to Pender Bay Escape, Higgins Farm is pricey and not as well organised or nice.
It was a nice campsite with lots of space to set up a spot away from others. We have a ground tent and found a level spot plus easy to peg. Showers and toilets very basic but that didn't bother me at all as it was great to have a shower :) (hot water too). A few people were confused about what to do when the owner isn't there but you can set up in a spot and they will come by later to check on you. For water there is a hose on the side of the shed near the toilet/shower area. We were also told we could collect wood from the property for a fire. Was an easy drive into Broome plus there is a beach you can walk to from the property.
Spacious, low-key spot with great access to beach. Basic amenities with friendly and helpful host. Recommended.
Overpriced and false advertising. No idea if there was potable water at the site (lucky our van had enough for our short stay). Amenities a dirty donga, should be cleaned. Showers communal with curtains not doors so felt unsafe as a female to use. Gate to beach closed for cars. Owner/host dogs roaming and defecated next to our van which was not picked up when dog found. We like bush camps if that's what you are paying for. This was overpriced and at maximum should be $40p/n including fees. No instructions sent through for your arrival and no host around to ask about anything. The only positive factor is the ability to walk to the beach for the rock pools although you cannot drive the track as advertised due to gate being closed because of "neighbour complaint" (this feature needs to be removed as selling point for this listing). This was the worst hipcamp we have stayed at when you look at cost and how it is advertised.

I loved the open space and ability to park anywhere.
Easy clean campside, plenty off space, close to the ocean. Will come again.
The key difficulty was the complete lack of information available from the host. We responded to his message and provided details requested, but had no other contact at all, and there was no signage or information at the farm regarding location of amenities, water points etc. Lights in amenities block once located weren't working and showers are basic and unisex. It could be a great site due to the location but host needs to put in a bit more effort to make it that way.

It is what it is. It is out of the bustle of Broome; better chance of peace and quiet; plenty of pick your own space; can walk (not drive) to the beach from the back of the property; but you do pay the "premium Broome price" and are let down by the old tired toilet block - not enough toilets (only one toilet and urinal for men and two toilets for ladies). Didn't use the unisex showers that seemed to lack privacy. There are no other amenities. Would be good to see the "premium price" used to at least upgrade and increase the number of toilets and showers.

Had a lovely camp under a beautiful mango tree (unfortunately not mango season yet). Higgins farm is close to Coconut wells so we did the drift on the high tide and scampered over the rocks at low tide.
Showers and toilets are basic but adequate.
Very friendly and nice caretaker.
Great spot to explore Coconut wells. We to enjoyed the walk to the rock pools and timed our stay for the high tide float! We were able to have a campfire and set up good spot on the property.

Higgins Farm has been great. Dogs were allowed some time off leash (under supervision). Had everything we needed for comfu stay in our Camper. Definitely will be back when we come to Broome again.
We nabbed a great sites for 3 couples 3 cars & 3 vans. Was great, lots of space and shade in the afternoon.

Absolutely unreal spot to stay had our own little spot to ourselves the caretaker Michell super friendly 10/10 would recommend for anyone that likes abit of off-grid camping but still super close to Broome with less then a 10min walk down to the beach

For the price of $66 per night, as informed by the manager we had access to the beach via the back gate. Unfortunately the back gate has been locked for 4years…
The grass was weeds.
The land wasn’t flat.
Water was supposed to be available. No tap.

Warren’s place had heaps of room and was lovely & quiet. You could also have fires. Both caretakers on site were friendly & helpful. A nice walk/short 4WD to a beautiful beach with rock pools at low tide & great sunsets (without the Cable Beach crowds). Only 15 mins into town.
We enjoyed our stay here

This place is an absolute hidden gem, just a stone's throw from Broome yet far enough away from the hustle and bustle to truly unwind. It was exactly the relaxing escape we needed. Knowing our belongings were safe while we explored gave us complete peace of mind. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return to Higgins Farm in the future.

Great quiet spot with plenty of space! Amenities were basic but did the job with a flushing toilet and hot water, can’t complain!!! Short walk down to the beach which was beautiful and really cool to check out the rock pools on low tide!
Quiet and safe, can leave stuff out at camp without issue as a private property 16km out of Broome. Only downfall was amenities where very basic, toilets and shower had no lights and the shower had no privacy door and when main door on the old donga shut was like showering in an oven. If they improve toilets, ventilation, soap and a toilet brush so people can clean up after themselves would be spot on.

What a great spot down amongst the mango trees. Delightful caretakers who were so helpful. There were plenty of places to park and most were almost level with some in shade and some where solar panels can be charged. Campfires allowed and one can gather firewood. Walking distance to Coconut Wells and only a short drive into Broome. There is potable water available to fill tanks. We did not use the bathrooms so can’t comment on those. There are prickles in the grass. We absolutely loved our stay at Higgins Farm.

Quiet, lots of room to spread out, facilities ok. Drinking water available. Minutes from coconut wells and cable Beach
Higgins Farm suited us well. We had a great spot under the trees and enjoyed the walk to the beach to watch the sunset. Did not test the amenities as we are self contained. It was a good fit for us as it was quiet.
