Please Note: We are currently in a restricted burning season, therefore allowance of campfires may be altered due to current bushfire ratings. Just 1 hour from Perth, Harmony Retreat is a conscious camping space and wellness event venue, situated on 25 acres at the foothills of the Darling Range Escarpment just 10-15 minutes from Pinjarra and Dwellingup. It's an easily accessible and picturesque private property with approximately 7 acres of forest, flushing toilet, hot outdoor shower, a winter creek, a swimmable spring-fed dam, and an abundance of bird and wildlife, nestled between cattle farms in the heart of the Peel region. PLEASE DO NOT BOOK IF YOU INTEND TO PARTY - HARMONY RETREAT IS A PEACEFUL NATURE ESCAPE. There are free-ranging chickens and Guinea fowl, a mini pig, very friendly goats, sheep, and our family dogs on site. The owners Michelle, Troy, and Carolyne live and work onsite. Friendly dogs are welcome, however, must be kept on a leash at all times, due to free-ranging livestock and wildlife on the property. The camping area is easily accessed by most vehicles. There is a hot water outdoor shower and toilet available to use and within walking distance of each site. CHILDREN/TEENS - The dam on the property is unfenced and has steep sides when the water line is low, therefore it is imperative that children are fully supervised at all times. We also asked that older children/teens are supervised, so as not to vandalise property, nature, gardens and fire-pits (this has unfortunately been a problem in the past). Our communal BBQ area is now open with a gas BBQ, picnic table and sink. Please bring your own cooker, kettle, esky, etc, Bringing your own drinking water is a must, as the water from the taps comes from our spring-fed dam. All rubbish and waste needs to be taken with you. Fires are permitted in designated fire pits during fire season (BYO wood). We do ask that you follow local fire regulations with no outdoor open cooking flames during fire bans. 🌿 DAM SITE – FOREST CAMPING - TENT SITE Nestled among the gum and banksia trees beside our spring-fed dam, this peaceful, nature-filled site is perfect for friends wanting to camp together in tents and fall asleep to the gentle chorus of frogs. There’s room to park 2–3 vehicles, with a sheltered camping area of approximately 6 m x 12 m nestled between the surrounding forest and partially farm fenced dam. Please note: Access is limited, with very little room to manoeuvre or reverse caravans and trailer campers. If travelling with a caravan or camper, please book our Harmony Forest Site, Paddock Site or Tipi Site instead. 🍃 Facilities and essentials Our closest campsite to the communal BBQ area, with a gas BBQ, sink and picnic table. Toilets and outdoor hot-water showers approximately 50 metres away. We recommend bringing your own cooker, kettle, esky and camping essentials. 🌿 PADDOCK SITE – COUNTRY CAMPING - PERFECT FOR CARAVANS Set in an open paddock with views across the rolling hills at the base of the scarp, this spacious site is perfect for a peaceful country getaway with friends. There is plenty of room to drive in, set up camp and spread out to enjoy the scenery. There paddock campsite offers space to relax and enjoy the open surroundings, with a maximum capacity of three caravans per site. 🚙 Access and location Easily accessible by most vehicles. Amenities are approximately a 200 metre walk away. No power is available onsite. 🔥 Campfires: Fires are permitted only in designated firepits when current fire restrictions allow. Fires are strictly prohibited during fire bans. There’s room to drive in and camp in the open or tuck yourself amongst the grass trees for extra privacy. 🚙 Access & location Suitable for most vehicles - although there is a slight hill when entering so 4WD recommended if towing a caravan. With air-conditioning and heating, it offers a comfortable camping experience surrounded by nature. 🛏️ Inside the caravan The caravan sleeps up to 4 guests in four single beds and includes: Fridge/freezer. BBQ for cooking (no cooktop) . Electric kettle and toaster. Plates, bowls, cutlery, utensils, glasses, coffee cups and salad bowl. Power is available inside the caravan for charging phones and small personal devices. 🍃 Facilities & location Toilet and rustic, enclosed outdoor shower approximately 60 metres away, with lovely views of the surrounding gum trees. Communal camp kitchen beneath the gum trees, with a cold water sink, outdoor table and chairs. Dwellingup and Pinjarra are less than 15 minutes away, offering cafés, restaurants and local attractions. 🛏️ What to bring To keep our rates affordable, please bring your own single fitted sheets (or larger), pillows, blankets, towels and personal essentials. Linen packages are available for $30 per guest—please message us to arrange this. 💰 Rates & guest numbers Nightly rate includes up to 2 guests. Minimum stay: 2 nights. We had brilliant communication all the way through booking to day of arrival. Michelle reached out to say that she wouldn't be there to greet us (kings long weekend) but any problems at all to text or contact her daughter who was looking after the place. We were in paddock site 1. We arrived and set up but unfortunately the weather especially the wind was horrific, we thought that we'd be visiting Oz through the night with the gusts. Next morning we took a walk down to the harmony forest site, and reached out to Michelle to see if we could all move. Michelle was very prompt with getting back to us and just advised us that we could definitely move but to be aware that they'd closed it as it could get boggy and alot of mozzie's if it rained. We did move and had a lovely rest of our stay. Very little mozzie's around but we did get to see some wildlife too, which wasn't scared of the dog, although they were looking for food. Being the kings birthday we definitely celebrated in style here. Would recommend to anyone that needed to just take in the air, destress and not be too far from exploring Pinjarra or Dwellingup. Toilets and hot showers a definite plus. Thank you Michelle, Carolyne and Troy for opening your home to us to enjoy 🥰

This is such a wonderful site. Plenty of space between pitches and some beautiful views over the hills and fields. The pig and goats were delightful as were the fairy wrens zipping around the place. Hosts were responsive and helpful! Great stay

I absolutely loved car camping with my dog at Harmony Retreat. We were lucky enough to camp at paddock site 1 under a stunning Marri tree. Michelle and everyone here are lovely. The goats and sheep are so friendly, and please bring veggie scraps for Peppa the pig. We are definitely coming back if we can!

We loved our stay in the sunflower van 🙂🌻 We stayed on a weekday so had the place to ourselves and it was pure bliss. The caravans are cute and tidy and the facilities were great! It was nice to shower under the clouds! ☁️ Plus the animals were very cute, we loved getting visits from their new puppy Banjo 🥰 Thanks for having us guys!

I stayed in the Sunflower van which was clean, and very comfy, I enjoyed it so much I extended my stay. Carolyne, Michelle & Troy are lovely hosts and the property is beautiful. It’s also a great location with easy drives to Dwellingup and surrounds, and Pinjarra.

A magical place
Sunflower Caravan
Harmony Retreat is a magical place. The property is beautiful and the birdlife alone is reason to just sit for a while, not to mention the goats and Peppa pig. The showers are hot and have a fabulous view. Hosts, Carloyne, Michelle and Troy are lovely, welcoming people. As a solo traveller I highly recommend Harmony Retreat.

We had a wonderful mini escape in the harmonious surroundings at Michelle, Carolyne and Troy’s beautiful retreat. Felt at one with nature and loved listening to the silence which is a treat in itself. No traffic or static just peace. Even though we only stayed one night it was the best camping experience we’ve had together and will definitely love to go back for longer soon. Wonderful 🙂🙂

Personalised and welcoming! A beautiful calm tranquil environment amongst farmland, trees and rolling hills. The children loved feeding the animals, birds and wondering through the fairy garden. We loved the quietness and having an area all to ourselves. Having a warm shower under the stars was a highlight and the facilities were very clean. Harmony retreat is relatively close to several attractions which we took advantage of. Our group thoroughly enjoyed this holiday experience and hope Michelle, Carolyne and Troy will welcome us back.

Toilets and showers were impeccably clean! The communal barbecue area with sinks was so handy - we used it to cook every meal. The Tipi site was so spacious, shady and secluded - we were so happy with our choice. The serenity was beautiful here. Be careful of the March flies - they were out for the kill!

We loved the views of neighbouring farm land from our camp-site, Paddock 2. There was a herd of cattle that walked past every afternoon and plenty of birds to spot and listen to.
