5 beautiful acres in the Swan Valley with horses, we run a horse rehoming charity from here where all proceeds from hipcamp go to support our facility. Along with plenty of horses, you'll also see kangaroos at certain times and our pet sheep Jamima who thinks she's a horse! A superb property with a winter creek and an open paddock where the horses live. It's very peaceful. There are only two camping sites available on this wonderful property at any time so privacy is assured. There is also a dam on the property so please mind any children with absent swimming abilities. Campfires are allowed during the season, and there is a toilet and shower available in the shed 100 meters from the camping area. Smaller groups booking the campsites will have full access to the toilet and shower. Please note, however, we offer a group camping option for larger groups but those booking this option must be fully self-contained as our facilities are not enough to support a large group. We have a strict Leave No Trace policy here, we kindly ask that you take all rubbish with you when you leave. We also ask that you please do not feed the horses. The property is well located to access many great wineries and cafes in the famous Swan Valley area, some within walking distance. Security here is taken care of by Mr security guard "aka" Smoky our pet dog. He's very safe and timid. If you get a pat from this boy I know you're good, so beware! We are dog friendly here, so you're welcome to bring mans best friend and we also have a secure yard to house any pets if you need a break, so long as they don't hassle the horses. We may also be able to accommodate your horse - please discuss this with us prior to booking. Peaceful Paddock Camp
The toilet and shower are in the horse shed with Dale and his mates. The shower is basically suspended from the roof over a very dirty floor with a tarp acting as a shower curtain but offering no privacy. Dale also wants you to inform him when you want to use the shower. Might be fine if you’re self contained but wouldn’t recommend the facilities. Wish I’d read a few more of the reviews

Honestly amazing. From the multitudes of places we have stayed in our Hiace across Australia, this one is a shiner. So happy to know about this place and will stay many more times to come.

I understood we would be camping in a horse paddock - no problems. What I did have a problem with though was a vicious dog chained up near the entrance to the toilet and shower area. The facilities are basic - that is understood but should have been cleaned. It is filthy in there. Really, really filthy. I also made several attempts to communicate during and after our stay which have been completely ignored. Not really up to scratch.

The site was an absolute disgrace and nothing like the description or photos or the reviews! Which were clearly not written by actual guests! The paddock was a sand pit! The poor horses had eaten everything down to nothing that it just left sand! Ants every where that have nasty sting once you’ve been bitten! The toilet that they advertise was backed up and so disgusting you wanted to vomit! In a beautiful place like the swan valley it just very disappointing, also because it is the first time we have used Hipcamp! At this point we won’t be rushing to use it again!
