Off leash dog barking until 3am
Was expecting a fantastic glamping experience once we arrived, tent set up inside looking good and it was quite clean. We stayed at the Meelup for two nights, however……
First night (on 17th April) was tough…an owner of a black French bulldog left the dog off leash at all time.
Though it was fine during day times but that dog went from day to nights !! Assume they are from “The Peppi” tent.
Dog came to our deck barked at our dog 4-5 times at night and there’s 3 times was during 2-3am !!!
There’s a clear rules on accommodation list no noise between 10pm-6am, we are very upset about it. Have no idea who is the owner. The French bulldog came to drink our dog water and eat our dog food while our dog on leash just stand there watching it doing it … 😨 and the aggression behaviour towards our dog was NOT TOLERATED at all. The owner came to took his dog back didn’t even said sorry and still let the dog off leash the whole time. The last barking was around 3:15am, we have kid in tent and all of us had no sleep on the night !!!
The next morning, a guy came out from Peppi tent holding/waving around a fire gun and let his dog off leash and mumbling sth in his mouth which we didn’t even want to listen or let him come closer to us …should have arrange a security person stay at the area.
Beside that, I strongly recommend relocating the Meelup sleep tent location, as it’s at the spot which people would need to enter/exit the toilet/shower, the door slammed was loud and frequently.
