A convenient base located just 20 minutes south of Geraldton, offering sweeping ocean views and 3.5 acres of semi-rural land. The sunsets from here are unreal. You'll be in the perfect location for nearby fishing, 4wding, canoeing, biking, hiking, kayaking, and so much more. Wake up to stunning ocean views and wildlife. If you have a 4wd, you'll love exploring the nearby tracks and fishing spots. You'll also be close to the Greenough Nature Reserve, great for hiking, canoeing, trail riding, and bird watching. The surrounding area also boasts a famous local stretch for abalone, and we're happy to share amazing swimming spots as well as other beautiful natural attractions. We have a pad available with two containers on either side that provide some protection from the elements, and there is a tap for water. Other than that, you'll need to be completely self-sufficient, including bringing your own toilet. We're happy to provide you with directions to the nearest sewerage dumping point. Please be aware that we do not accept bookings with children, and we have two dogs who need to be introduced. Please only book if you are comfortable with dogs.Wake up with ocean views and wildlife. The convenience of only being 20min out of town. If you have a 4wd, you'll love the tracks and fishing spots. Also a very famous local stretch for abalone. We're happy to share amazing swimming spots as well as other beautiful natural attractions. Close access to the Greenough nature reserve, great for hiking, canoeing, trail riding and bird watching. Great place but sadly the dry conditions and the wind hampered our stay. Would definitely like to try it again in Autumn/Spring. We would then park our van to the side of the freight containers rather than between them to give ourselves more space. This has potential to be an awesome site. Host Jolene is awesome, super friendly and helpful. Two large dogs which didn’t worry us as we are dog people, but if you’re unsure of large dogs this is not the place for you. Great place to explore Greenough and Geraldton.

Geraldton base camp

I stayed here with just my fourbie and swag. Jolene was super communicative and flexible about the arrival time. Very friendly with good local knowledge and she also introduced me to the two doggos who love a good pat! Had a terrific sunset view and was left to my own devices. Convenient location to check out Geraldton and keep away from the crowds when you want to relax. Provided with a stable pad and two containers that shield some of the weather but ultimately you need to be self sufficient, which Jolene clearly states in the description. Lovey place and I’d love to revisit one day !
