Palouse Stargazing RV-Camp
Great place to camp for a few nights. Store 10 minutes away and completely secluded. No light pollution really let's you enjoy the view. The sunset and sunrise were both beautiful to watch. There's cows, chickens, and goats. Would recommend (as long as your not scared of the dark at night). Will be returning!

Matt and his partner were so helpful and kind. Made the process so easy and comfortable. Slept like a baby! The land is absolutely gorgeous and so peaceful. The water is great and the animals were lovely. Got to tour the entire property with ease. Would definitely love to camp there again when we visit Cheney. Made us feel right at home. 10/10 experience! And got to pet the dogs, cats, horses, cows, chickens, and goats! Literally a dream place to be. Thankful for the last minute camp site for our trip!

Basic spot for a tent
Basic spot. The stars are in fact gorgeous. There’s not a lot of shade so if you’ll be there during the day prepare for that. I had an enjoyable night’s sleep there. There are roosters, they do crow. The morning scenery was breathtaking at sunrise.

GOATS!!!
Animals Animals!!! Loved it brought back some memories! Cows, chickens, miniature horses, ducks but the goats stole the show!!
If you want a farm experience here ya go.
As for star gazing. I saw other reviews complaining about the lights on the farm. If you want a true star gazing experience you need to be 100 miles from any major city.
For this camp I saw plenty of stars, lots of meteorites and a few satellites.
It was a great stay will be back again!

Palouse Stargazing CarCamp
Great little spot. We didn't get to spend too much time because we were headed east to some National Parks but I couldn't have been happier with Matt's place. We arrived well after dark and went straight to sleep but waking up to the sunrise and seeing his beautiful place and watching the animals do their thing while we got ready to move on I immediately knew I would stop their their again if I needed a place in Eastern Washington.

Great property here. And you've got company with the cats, chickens, miniature horses, cows and such. Nice spot, great views but I did have one issue.
If you're going to bill it as a great place to star gaze you might want to get rid of the arc sodium light that lights up the whole area. You can't claim great star gazing and have that light there.

Serene Farm Stay
We had the best time here! Matt’s farm is beautiful and the animals are a riot. We were very comfortable on Matt’s quiet property and really enjoyed the natural beauty of his place. The sunset was unbelievable!

Our honeymoon😊
The owners were away (But very polite and responsive by text) and the person that they had fill in for them was lovely. When she found it it was our honeymoon she brought me some flowers in the morning.The farm was beautiful,the sunset breathtaking and after many days of sleeping at roadside stops it was so peaceful and green. There were many birds and animals and a very friendly little kitty. The rooster gets up very early but we had to be on our way and it was cute watching him chase the chickens. We were also treated to a very exciting thunder and lightning storm. I would definitely stay there again if we are ever back that way. We loved it.

We loved our stay! Very quiet and beautiful farm setting. We got to hold baby goats, eat fresh eggs and were entertained by the lively ponies and friendly cats. Hosts were super friendly and accommodating.

Open views but no longer dark
The property is in a lovely setting on the Palouse landscape and Matt and his wife are welcoming and friendly. I was disappointed that lights have been added since my last visit - at the back of the barn and string lights on trees at front of the property. These have decreased the quality of viewing the night sky.

Great site—I loved the cats that came out to play with me. Such sweet little guys who were so friendly and curious. I got in late and it was raining most of the time I was there so I didn’t get to explore much but everything I saw was lovely and nothing was lacking.

Wonderful Quiet Location
Staying at this farm for 3 nights was awesome, although we were sorry to never meet the owners. They were there during the day while we were out exploring. The 3 almost grown kittens stood in their place and were great fun. This spot is quiet and gets very dark at night. We will book another stay if we're ever visiting in Cheney again.

Beautiful views, very nice hosts
The drive there was beautiful, along with the views from thier property, Matt and his wife where very nice. Couple of things that would have made it even better would be a more level area for the Rv, and removing all the bull head weeds throughout the property, as we kept tracking them in our Rv.

Quiet night with the kittens
Very quant little spot for an overnight stay. There are friendly barn kittens that are extremely sociable that hung out with us the whole time. Expect loud rooster calls throughout the morning, and the occasional quacking from the ducks. Port-o-potty wasn't there for our stay, but the addition of a bathroom would have made the stay perfect.
