This property is new to our little family of 5 but it has along history.  Views on the prairie of a historic barn and silo. Look up "Henry Allice homesteaded" at Historic Homestead.org: "Settled in the 1880s. Henry and his father cut the trees on site, aged them one year and then cut them into lumber." More info on Instagram @CouleeCreekHomestead Learn more about this land: A serene and private valley with both expansive open fields and wooded areas. Enjoy a central location to Riverside State Park, Riverside ORV park, Spokane River, and yet just minutes to town. Just across the road there are horse, bike, and hiking trails. On our property there are many fun areas to explore and hike. When the creek is flowing splashing and playing is a must. Due to drought conditions it's dry in 2021, but makes a great place to play and discover for kids.  Both Site 1 & 2 have a fire pit and hammock provided for you to enjoy. There's also a porta-potti set up inside of a privacy tent.  Views on the prairie of a historic barn and silo. Look up "Henry Allice homesteaded" at Historic Homestead.org: "Settled in the 1880s. Perfect spot for the night. You get the feeling of being remote and off grid without being far from town and cell service. Would stay again!

We had a good stay and will be back. The two sites are closer and less separated by trees then I expected but it wasn't an issue. You have way more space and seperation then most state campgrounds.

Best RV spot in Spokane
This camp site is so much better than any of the rv parks in Spokane. Peaceful, quiet, open space, but still close by for activities in Spokane. I highly recommend this!

Great campsite in a big, flat field next to some trees for shade. Hammock was a nice touch. Close enough to Spokane to enjoy the town during the day. Would recommend to a friend.

Peaceful getaway close to home.
Easy to locate from the main road with the camp sites clearly marked. Surprisingly zero mosquitoes (at least at the time of writing this). Evening shade with a beautiful sunrise. Nice little spot to get away from town without being too far away. 7 mile ORV park is right around the corner if you bring some toys to play with. We were looking for a nice destination for a MTB bike packing trip which wasn’t far off. This fit the bill perfectly.

Go for what I was doing. Traveling through and camping a long the way. The road going is just a two rut road but my Prius made it in and out just fine. Nice area view from the sites.

Beautiful spot close to I90.
I hope all my future hipcamp stays are as great as this, our first time using hipcamp! Communication with Lizzy was quick and easy. We stayed one night on our way home. It was just 20 minutes off of interstate 90 in a shady patch of a beautiful field which was very peaceful and felt very safe. We fell asleep to the calls of owls and watched a pair of foraging California Quail in the morning. We were in our pick up and small tow behind camper. I would definitely stay here again. Watch carefully for the driveway, even though it was well marked with a sign with the hipcamp symbol, we missed it the first time.
