Excellent place to visit for birdwatching, exploring Korong Ridge, and enjoying the peace and quiet. I had a 100 hectares to explore by myself, and spent my most of time there bushwalking. Trudy was very helpful, and communicated well with me prior to my arrival. I did not see anyone for three days, as I camped at the back dam, which was very private.

Trudy and James made us feel so welcome. Their instructions were clear. There property was amazing, deciding on where to camp was a challenge with so many beautiful spots to chose from. We camped near the wetlands. From our camp site and our wandering around the property, the wildlife and wildflowers kept us entertained. So much to see and explore. Cannot wait to go back.

Great quiet spot so much land to explore. Lots of wildlife. This was our second time here. Kids loved the walk up to the top dam. Hosts very acommodating. We will definitely book again.

Absolutely beautiful piece of land, the views of Mt Korong in the background are stunning. Very private site, lots of bird life and kangaroos, and many different native trees. It was great to hear how Trudy and James have worked to regenerate this land. Highly recommend camping here.

This was our first time camping with our rescue pup so we wanted to book somewhere private where we wouldn’t have to worry about encountering other dogs. We had a fantastic time! Beautiful location, lots of wildlife and great walking trails. Incredibly quiet and we had the entire area to ourselves. Would definitely recommend.

Highly recommend to anyone thinking of staying. Trudy and James met us on arrival and showed us a few spots we could stay. We had the whole place to ourselves and was great for the kids to explore. Trudy and James even gave the kids some activities to do and the kids loved collecting things and putting them in the magnifying jars they were given. Great place to unwind and be in nature. Such a magnificent property which is a testament to the hard work that both James and Trudy have contributed to the conservation of the land over the years. My dog and I spent hours exploring the many bush tracks to spy on the wildlife. We camped at the upper dam and were rewarded with frequent visits from kangaroos and birdlife. A truly beautiful, peaceful camping experience.

Such a peaceful remote place. We even saw some Yabbies in the dam water! Would highly recommend if you just want an isolated place to get away.

We had a truly relaxing time. Trudy and her partner were so warm and welcoming. We chose where we wanted to camp and we had the site all to ourselves. The views and the variety of birds are just beautiful. We loved swimming and kayaking in the dam and I’m sure we’ll be back again soon! Thank you so much😊

Trudy and James were absolutely absolutely wonderful hosts. They are incredibly passionate about the rehabilitation work on their property and it was a privilege to be able to stay there. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to get away for a few days!
The towns nearby are small and lovely, it was very easy to go for a quick drive to get more firewood when I ran out.
Will definitely be back!

Great place to take the family for some time out in the bush during the Spring school holidays! Kids enjoyed riding their bikes along the numerous re-veg & kangaroo trails. The dogs loved their dip in the top dam. Lots of wattle in flower, even some paper daisies amongst the grasses. The re-veg looks to be a success with lots of self-regeneration evident too. Great place to get lost in (easy to find your way back). Had no trouble with ants & not even a mozzie despite being camped close to the receding lower wetland. Friendly hosts, highly recommended!

Trudy and James have a great quiet place to camp, plenty of space multiple options. Perfect spot to swim and a great fire pit. Firewood available to purchase from the camp kitchen. They both showed us a few options where we could set up and are very knowledgeable on the history and current state of their property. Its a short 10 min drive to Wedderburn. Would definitely recommend a stay here. We will definitely be back.

Trudy and James were very welcoming and spoke to us about the history of the regeneration of the land. We loved the peace and privacy at this camp-site. There was lots of space to go for walks, relax and unwind. Our dog loved the open spaces to explore and was great having the whole place to ourselves. We didn't use the camp kitchen, which was available for use. We used both dams as it was a very hot stay. Would visit again, thank you.

Wonderful bush land for quiet camping. Trudy and James met us and gave us the background on their amazing work to regenerate the land - and their hard work shows. Multiple quiet spots for camping; we pitched by the dam and had a lovely afternoon of swimming and relaxing. Lots of birds, some Roos and a perfect night away.

Trudy and James were great hosts and the land was lovely. I was almost ready to give up on the hipcamp platform, but this was my third time using it and we finally found a camp that is represented accurately. I can stand by all of the previous reviews that this place is absolutely wonderful. It's so isolated and vast, with so much to see and explore. We swam in the water hole a lot, walked up to the other damn to kayak, took our dogs for lots of walks. We didn't hear any traffic during our stay, just wind and birds. We also saw about 70 kangaroos migrating together one evening. Trudy and James have regenerated the land, it's a really special spot and we can't wait to book again.

Beautiful and peaceful spot. Love the wetlands and the kangaroos, there are canoes there too, which is pretty cool. The owners are fantastic, and James explained a bit about the history of the property. Tap water there if needed.. definitely recommend to bring your own ant rid, James did offer me some if I needed it. For me, this was a great stopover, safe and just what I needed. Thanks guys!!

What we liked about Trudy's land is that they are doing all that they can to ensure their land is re vegetated, Trudy was a great host and her communication before and while we were there was great. We also enjoyed that she only takes one group, and even though we were just two guests, we still had the place to ourselves to enjoy walks and the peace and quiet. Thanks Trudy,

We loved camping at James and Trudy's!
We got lucky with the weather and were able to drive our little 2wd hiace van along the ridge to find a perfect spot up by the top dam. Loved that they supplied free movable fire pits and that we could buy firewood directly from them using the honor system and leaving cash in the camp kitchen. It was great having the whole property to ourselves during the evenings and being 700m away from the camp kitchen meant even though they were there working in the camp kitchen during the days, our site still felt very private.
Trudy and James gave us a quick tour on arrival and its very clear that the conservation property is special to them. There's lots of different looking spots so you could go back multiple times and stay in a new spot each time and it feel brand new. Im sure we will be back, hopefully next time with our Aussie Shepherd
