Twelve Apostles Motel & Country Retreat offers fully air-conditioned rooms and pet-friendly rooms with free Wi-Fi and a flat-screen TV. It is only 3-minute drive from the world-famous Twelve Apostles and 12 Apostles Visitor Information Centre and 4-minute drive to the Gibson Step and beach. Loch Ard Gorge is just 7 kilometers away. Please kindly note due to the pandemic the onsite restaurant has been closed. The nearest restaurants and stores are located in Port Campbell, about 15 15-minute drive. Meanwhile, self-check-in and check-out are now available. All rooms, 9 motel rooms, and 4 cottages include a fridge, microwave, heater, electric blanket, private bathroom, and car parking. A kettle and toast, coffee, tea, and milk are provided. There are some wildlife animals around the property, which guests may see in different seasons, such as kangaroos, koalas, wombats, and birds. The property is particularly loved by families, couples, kids, and people with pets. This was a very friendly site. The Manager was very friendly & kind. Pointing out the koala sleeping in the tree at reception. It was a bonus to have toilets available 7am to 10pm. Very convenient for Twelve Apostles (a 2 mile walk for those like me that like the exercise. Try to plan sunset there as the pictures can be stunning. The site was large, flat & mowed. Very quiet.

Was a great place to stay if you want to visit the 12 apostles etc. Wasn't anything special just a paddock. Easy to find and had a Friendly host. Only recommendation for the host is to mow camp area as it was fairly weedy.

There was plenty of room for several different vans with lots of open space with views of the farm. Very quiet and peaceful and just off the Great Ocean Rd. Very close to some major viewing areas of the 12 Apostles.

Great stay right at the twelve apostles. The host was lovely and welcoming. The weather was not great but we were able to position ourselves near some big trees to block the wind as best as possible.

This camp site was a short 5 minute drive to the information centre and coastal viewing areas of the Twelve Apostles. We found the proximity to the Great Ocean Road to be very convenient. It has a very large area available for setting up your self contained vehicle. The area is quiet and peaceful in a farm like setting with view of the fields.

Apart from the road leading to the site everything was perfect. We saw a 🐨 on site and kangaroos at neighboring fields. The host was highly helpful and attentive to our needs. Would definitely recommend. Further to this we were minutes away from the trail to Gibson steps and 12 apostles

Hosts were friendly and checked in on us to make sure we were happy with our campsite, and even made sure we had plenty of shade and even ground. Bonus points for the puppy dog too

Location pretty but be pre warned it is in someone’s backyard. Up most of the night from people doing karaoke till 1 in the morning. Left pretty early as didn’t feel comfortable there. Lovely people but if you don’t like camping in someone’s backyard don’t go here. No restraint either. No public toilets or showers. We were literally parked behind their house

Because I cancelled this place n asked hipcamp to refund my money but they never did ...even spoke to the host n he was fine abt cancelation That was 4 days b4 I was due to go STILL WAITING FOR REFUND !!!

I booked as the sites shown (by a very nice lady who didn't speak a word of English) were in a paddock & looked very nice, it had been raining for a day or so so we were directed to park in front of the few units on site . This proved to be a difficult site to get out of when we left in the morning, in fact we had to unhook the van & manually turn it. I think they should not have accepted the booking for a 15ft van if the paddock was inaccessible. We would rather have pulled up on the side of the road & saved $36!
