Basic amenities like toilet and shower made for a great camping experience. So nice to have affordable campsite so close to Apollo Bay and the Otways. Quiet spot even though there a few holiday houses quite close.

Great, secure & fenced in spot. Beautiful location for beach visits and walks, great to have the space with my 2 dogs, and lovely location with birds, trees, amazing night sky and the sound of the ocean waves.
Added bonus of the shower on site too.
Thanks so much will definitely visit again.

This is a cleared vacant, fully fenced block in a great location - just a short stroll to the beach, close to Apollo Bay's restaurants and good spot to head to into the Otways for some more nature. Dog friendly! There are houses around it but not at all intrusive and it's a very quiet street. The bathroom is small and basic but clean and functioning. Everything is as described in the listing. You pay for the peace and having it to yourself.

Great spot 5kms out of Apollo Bay. Makes for a great base to adventure around the Otways. Nice big slanted block with enough flat spots to accommodate a few tents or swags. Flushing toilet, hot shower and a fire pit are basically everything you need whilst camping, and this site delivers that.
My only minor annoyance is that you are basically camping in a coastal residential area so it can feel a bit weird having neighbours around you that aren't campers if that makes sense. If you can get past that you will love it here.
Peter was easy to communicate with and I will definitely be recommending this to my friends or even coming back again myself!

As frequent Skenes Creek visitors, we’re always looking for a site that is private, yet close to the beach. And we’ve found our new favourite spot! Walk to the beach, easy site access and set-up, mains water and shower/toilet facilities complete the package.

This is a great spot, so close to the beach, has good amenities with flushing toilet and hot shower, plenty of space and a nice fire pit. Peter was very kind & accomodating, and checked in to make sure we were ok.
Very peaceful location, fell asleep to the sounds of the ocean. We did a long walk to Apollo Bay and back along the beach.
Definitely recommend this place!

I loved the glamping tent! The instructions were clear with directions on how to get there and also with getting the hot water running. The host also provided me with a camping table and solar panel chargers! The property was beautiful and super close to the beach, it was amazing hearing the waves crashing at night!

Large tent with inflatable (slightly smaller than QS) mattress. Brick fire pit. Private block of land with homes nearby (front and rear of site occupied)
Easy stroll downhill to Skenes Creek beach, koalas in trees nearby. Flushable toilet and shower with gas (bottle) hot water.
BYO timber, fireplace hot plate, all cooking gear and shade. Pet friendly and well fenced.

Very well set up site. We particularly liked the fencing which meant the dog was safe to hang around the site off leash without a worry. Nice fire pit. We had a great time.

Absolutely loved staying at Peter's site .
So quite and peaceful. Nothing but the sound of the ocean and local birdlife to fall asleep and wake up to.
Swimming at Skenes Creek beach was sensational .
Camping here makes for a great base to explore many of the local attractions in the Otways region.
Amazing starry nights to sit by cosy campfires and wonder at the Milky Way, passing satellites and shooting stars.
Thanks for sharing this beautiful part of the Great Ocean Road.

What a perfect spot! Short stroll to the beach which was never crazy busy even for a long weekend, close to Apollo Bay for supplies and a perfect spot to relax and fall asleep to the sound of the ocean. The trees provided some great shade during the day. We felt a bit smug when we walked past the packed in campers at the caravan park. Host Peter was easy to communicate with and helpful when we needed it. This was our third hipcamp stay and one we will definitely come back to.
