Our property, "Seven Hills Tallarook", sits high above Tallarook with deep valleys and high peaks, just over one hour North of Melbourne's CBD. The property is 600 acres of thick Victorian bush and farmed paddocks. We have a wide range of hobby farm animals - pigs, sheep, alpacas, chickens, ponies, a donkey, along with commercial heard of South African Boer Goats. As night falls, the wildlife come out to play - kangaroos, rabbits, deer and wallabies. Internally, we have in excess of 10 kilometers of roads within the property, the majority being 2WD accessible (weather conditions apply). There are parts of the property which are only 4WD accessible. Our campsites are placed to allow you to be as isolated as possible - away from other campers (you may see others as you drive past, or they drive past you). At some of our bush sites, you will be able to see other campers, but they are not close by. Additionally, we anticipate our Fire Danger Period for the 2025/2026 Summer Season will commence in the coming weeks. We have not toggled the Fire Ban on as we do still allow campfires, however campers MUST adhere to CFA guidelines at all times. On days of Total Fire Ban (TFB), no fires, including gas stoves can be lit outdoors. In event of the TFB toggle needing to be used on Hipcamp, this will advise all guests booked on that day and to all future guests. We will toggle it off once the TFB is removed. Furthermore, we reserve the right to ask you not to light a fire regardless of TFB status if we feel weather conditions are unsafe, especially the wind element. We cannot plan the weather and the request to not light your campfires will most likely be on the day and we will advise as such. Our interest is with your safety, our neighbors and our property and our family.

Situated on top of the middle hill on the farm, this spot is private and secluded. You have 360 views over the farm, Broadford and the Tallarook Ranges. Only a short walk down to the creek one direction and a short walk the other to the animals, if your lucky, the animals, just might be in the paddock next door. We have provided a designated rock fire pit (we strongly adhere to CFA restrictions so fires aren't always aloud). Price is for one car/camper additional cars/campers attract additional fees. If towing, a 4WD is required.

Aussie Bush Views - Powered Site

This site sits a few meters of the beaten track, about 100m down into the bush from our main homestead. With power, this is one of our "connected" sites which allows you to experience the rural bush in Victoria's Central Region while keeping your comforts. As the site is just of the main track around the property, you may have other campers pass you on the way down to their sites (all of which are unconnected), but generally speaking, you'll have your privacy as there is no other sites nearby. If towing, a 4WD is highly recommended, otherwise a 2WD is adequate for tents and swags. While the site can be connected to power, we are 100% off the grid and generate our own power from solar and wind. We therefore ask you to be aware of your power consumption. For the power, the damage can be during the night with the aircon or heater on etc. NO ACCOMOATION IS PROVIDED, BRING EVERYTHING. No water is provided.

This site sits 50m from our main homestead, on top of the hill, overlooking Seymour and Tallarook State Forrest. Can hook up to power. We are of the grid 100% so will need to be aware of how much power is being consumed, i.e. running aircon/heater all night. We have a generator which you may hear. Otherwise, there is a toilet which guests can use on the outside of the main shed (it is a working tradesman toilet, not a five star loo). If towing a caravan, 4WD will be needed. Otherwise, a 2WD is adequate. We have 3 dogs, 1 cat, 1 pet goat and the chicken coup in a short walk from the site. Perfect for those passing through or wanting that bush experience away from the "normal" campsites but still have the luxuries. On long weekends, you may see other campers drive by. Additional cars/camper vans/caravans allowed but will attract additional fees

The North Wing of our main homestead sits to the North West corner of our property, over looking the Tallarook Ranges and down towards Melbourne. The homestead, as is the rest of the property, is entirely off the grid - meaning all power and water you consume comes from the sun and the rain. The house has two bedrooms, one and half bathrooms and an impressive kitchen and living area - walking out to the veranda with a pool (summer months only) and BBQ/alfresco area. The accommodation is solely private for your use for the duration of your stay. We have a section of the homestead which is used for our private residence, in no way will we impact your stay. There is plenty of space for additional camping around the homestead making it ideal for larger group. Extra cost for additional campers.

In the heart of the farm, sits our newly renovated, two-bedroom cottage, with an open plan kitchen and living area, bathroom, wood burning fireplace and an outdoor area with firepit, it is the perfect place to disconnect. There is something for every age. From bushwalking and fishing, to stargazing and animal feeding, from relaxing with a cold beer during Summer to enjoying a glass of red wine in front of the fire in Winter, it is the perfect place to reconnect at any time of the year. Please note, that the cottage sleeps 4, however space for 2 extra is available on couches, linen and towels are not provided for the extra 2. Also ideal for those that want to glamp but have friends that want to camp. There is enough space for multiple caravans or tents.

Excellent property well setup and spaced out for privacy. Large spots designated with fire pits. Highly enjoyable for a weekend stop. Make sure you pack A good book and pack of cards nothing else to do but relax and stargaze.

We loved camping at this location. The views were absolutely stunning, and there were no other campers around so it was very Serene and peaceful. My kids liked feeding the pigs and goats. Who certainly be back to this location and will bring friends next time!

Lovely camping at Creek Side. Great instructions to get to camp. Next to a small creek too cold for us to swim and looks good for fishing. We towed a 2.4tonne 16’6” caravan to the spot. A bit tight in places and had to engage 4WD High to access the site. Other sites are close by so if you want a completely isolated camp either go to site 5 or the Hill Top site noting a steepish hill to access with a caravan. Would highly recommend and hope to come back one day. Thank you for sharing your property.

We loved hidden hill top camping. Great view, with peaceful spot. We definitely recommend either going as a group or just romantic getaway for couples. Rebecca was very helpful and we will go back again soon. If it was flat surface on the top near fire pit wold have been much better for tent campers.
