I love this place. We were at site4 with 2 tents, gazeebo and 3 cars. There’s big trees on the slope which provides plenty of cool shade on a sunny day. There’s also lots of trees on the top of the hill and love the sound of leaves and branches on a breezy night. Virginia is also very welcoming. Clean toilets and no smell. Will definitely be back for another relaxing camping experience.

Toilets were well kept and the site itself had enough flat space for all the tents.
The site had a lovely view but unfortunately was not very private. There is a bmx pump track right next to the site which children used frequently. Additionally the site was also a thoroughfare for the property owner and others to get to and from parts of the property.
For a family this would be a great spot for letting the kids go on there own adventures.

We had an absolute relaxing time on Site 3 in our caravan for four nights. Fire wood was delivered to our site so we could enjoy a “toasty” night by our camp fire.
Our dog enjoyed the space for ball play, bush walks and spending quality time soaking up the sun. We befriended a couple of King Parrots, bird seeds and peanuts were their morning treats.
The “composting toilets” are immaculate with absolutely no smell and no bugs and regularly maintained by Rick.
There are 5 decent sized sites, each with their own character. Our site was perfect for a drive through, still enough sun to charge our battery yet shady against the afternoon sun.
Plenty of wombat burrows around the property, bounding wallabies and grey kangaroos were seen during our walk. Found an old cemetery with two headstones dating from late 1800’s to early 1900’s with interesting historical commemoration for a Boer War digger.
Virginia and Rick are very accommodating and even offered us potable water from their home if required. There is a rain water tank next to the toilets that can be used for washing.
There is a massive BMX track for enthusiasts, slightly overgrown but still a lot of fun for the kids regardless.
We loved our set up, the sights of the rolling hills, a variety of bird life and some massive but old twisted gums on the property and the occasional morning visit of sheep from neighbouring farms.
We will definitely be going back, can’t believe how quiet it is and how bright the stars are.

We had a great stay at site 4! Pretty views, nice and open and reasonably close to the pump track to keep an eye on the kids. We wanted privacy from other campers and site 4 provided that (apart from ppl visiting the toilets from time to time which didn’t bother us as it was a while away). Toilets are as everyone says - completely odourless and kept nice and clean by the hosts. Perhaps a tad expensive once you add in kids and extra guests but it seems you pay for privacy! We’d come back again - thanks Virginia!

We loved our stay here. Much better in real life than the pictures. Nice and quiet. We would stay again. Close to beautiful national park and beach.

We received a fabulous welcome, especially as we booked very last minute. Courtesy of a very reasonably priced firewood delivery, we had a cosy night, and woke up to an amazing sunrise and birdsong. We'd definitely come again - ideally for longer to soak up the peace and quiet. Sites are generously spaced apart and Site 5 was particularly private, which we also appreciated very much

An incredible spot with great views. This site had direct access to the toilets which were maintained really well. Virginia was lovely and the ability to purchase firewood and have it delivered straight to the site was a bonus. We were a group of first time campers and loved staying here. Definitely recommend!

We had a lovely long weekend holiday at Virginia’s land. Virginia is very kind and helpful. The place was great view and well maintained. Toilets were clean with light. My neighbor were friendly and quiet. My dog and their dogs had a lot of fun together. I definitely recommend the place and save the place on my campsite list for sure!

Did my first ever camping with my wife at this spot and it was amazing. Luckily there were no other bookings so we explored the whole area. Great views all day and great spot for stargazing.

The property is peaceful, with beautiful views, great toilet facilities, some bushland to explore, and very friendly hosts. Site 2 is about 30m from Site 3. There is some landscaping with plant life etc in between the sites that helps keep things a bit private, you can see and hear others, but it's not like being next to each other on a flat field or anything. The no heavy drinking or bad behaviour policy was reassuring, and loud noise wasn't an issue. We would definitely go back!

Such a beautiful property! Site 2 & 3 are near each other, for those booking with friends, the rest are really spread out. We barely even seen the other campers! The hosts are very friendly and helpful. The toilets are spectacular! No smell, very clean, even has a light! Would definitely go back!

Virginia and Rick's place was absolutely AMAZING... so peaceful with incredible surroundings, private, spacious, easy to find and beautiful land to explore. Definitely did not disappoint. We stayed 3 nights at site 1 and it was the perfect city getaway... Rick, V and their family were so lovely, friendly and helpful.. the perfect hosts. The compost toilet was such a brilliant set up, probably the nicest camp toilets I've experienced. Highly recommend this place to anyone, we will be back again!!

We had such a lovely stay at Serenity Hill campground! It had everything we needed, so much so that we didn’t leave once during our stay. The sites are private and have amazing views. We loved pottering around the grounds, checking out the sheep and the old cemetery and the surrounds. Virginia was an excellent host. We were grateful for her delivery of firewood and excellent recommendation to visit the nearby Tarra-Bulga National Park. Definitely want to return!

Virginia's and Ric's property is perfect, only 5 sites spread generously across a large area ensure each camper can enjoy this majestic environment.
Some great ingenuity with their composting toilet, plenty of space site and amazing views.

Thank you Virginia and Rick for such a wonderful Easter break at Serenity Camp. The property certainly lives up to its name. We camped at site 1 and enjoyed stunning views of surrounding properties and loads of privacy.
Virginia and Rick took the time to stop and say hello when passing by and were so warm and welcoming.
Hopefully this was the first of many visits.

We had such an amazing stay at Serenity Hill Camp! Rick and Virginia are amazing hosts super friendly and helpful, and they really make you feel at home.
The camp is peaceful and surrounded by nature. We loved seeing wombats, birds, and even a few wallabies right near our site.
There are some beautiful walking tracks around the property with blackberries surrounding. The local shops (town) and beaches are just a short drive away perfect for a swim or relaxing by the water.
Everything was clean and well looked after, and you can tell Rick and Virginia really care about the place.
Site 1 views were beautiful and spacious even with other sites nearby all sites have their own privacy. The directions are very easy and clear.
If you're looking for a quiet, nature-filled getaway with lovely hosts, this is the spot. We’ll definitely be back!

We absolutely loved camping in our swag on Site 4. The view was breathtaking, and the facilities were clean and well-maintained. Clear directions and excellent signage made everything super easy to find. Even with other campers nearby, the site felt private and peaceful. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a scenic and relaxing getaway.

Booked this as a weekend getaway. It was private, quiet, and peaceful with an amazing view. The owner is a nice and relaxed person who came to check in on us if we needed firewood. The place was clean, easy to get to, and had many great views to explore either on foot or by car.
