Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
A well kept small farm with good shelter and easy access. Situated on the surf coast, with some of the best beaches in the world only a short drive away, plus loads of walking trails, mountain biking and birdwatching. Suitable for camping or caravans. Situated on a touch under 10 acres in the Gherang Hamlet.Nestled amongst the cypress trees with a north facing aspect, set up camp and enjoy the sounds of the many species of birds. About 250m away from and out of sight of the house so you’ll have privacy. A picnic table and fire pit when it’s allowed (please follow fire restrictions). Drive to beaches including Bells Beach in 20mins, and Moriac general store only 10mins away. Feel free to bring your horse and/or pets, with a fenced paddock all to yourself. Local attractions include wineries, world class surfing and beaches (happy to give recommendations!), Anglesea and Aireys, bush walking, mountain biking, dirt bike trails and close-ish to Mt Duneed Estate if you’re up for a concert!

Great escape close by!
We had an awesome time at Michael’s Hipcamp. Easy to find, nice flat land and fully fenced which allowed our dogs freedom. Wildlife and farm animals all around. Michael was very accommodating when we asked to stay an extra night and prepared another paddock for us. Thanks so much, will def be back!

Does what it says on the tin
Great stay, plenty of space, nice and quiet. Also just a short 20 minute drive down to Anglesea. Instructions on how to find the campsite super easy to follow 👍🏽

Great location with great hosts!
Great location with great hosts! Michael was able to answer our questions and help make our stay comfortable. The spot was beautiful and serene - trees, sunsets, stars, birds and even some kangaroos! Easy drive to Anglesea but away from the crowds which was great. Really enjoyed our stay!

We had such a great time. The area was beautiful. The grass was well maintained, nice to camp on, plus a great picnic table! Michael checked in with us which was lovely. Would definitely recommend. Thank you
