Very peaceful and easy to get to. Nice and close to Ballarat for exploring.

Roys Rise was a magnificent place to stay. Amongst the rolling hills and cows! The pad for the caravan was dead level, and the fenced off area with a fire pit was a great touch. Very little road noise, with only a minor road near by, and close to Ballarat if you need to duck into town to grab supplies.

Nice spot, the cows were great company! The firepit and wood we’re a great touch on a chill night. And so nice to see lots of Kangaroos, and wake up to the sound of kookaburras.
We were camping in a tent and hiked in. If you’re also on foot be aware that you’ll need to bring all your water with you.

Great little spot just outside of town, but backs up to parks so you wouldn't know. Jason is a good host, went above and behond getting is extra wood so we can keep fire going in cold weather.

Great camp very private with only one site.
Just the cows and Kangaroos.
Very convenient to Ballarat only 10mins away
Well set up with a level site and fire pit.Must be fully self contained.

Great spot to relax and escape the city, a good setup with plenty of the local roos about, and a few cattle to keep you company. Will be back!
