There are separate campsites available. Rodborough Vale is 600 acres with a combination of creek flats, native bushland and rocky volcanic outcrops. A working sheep property with some cropping, It is home to the well known Rodvale Border Leicester Stud. Farming in harmony with the native fauna and flora, guests may be able to spot many native species including platypus, wedge tail eagles, kookaburra and many more. Fronting Deep Creek, guests have access to fishing or just sit and listen to the crystal clear water meandering past the campsites. The farm borders Tullaroop Reservoir which is only a ten minute walk from most campsites, there you can find public toilets and picnic areas it is well known for its fly fishing for trout. The boat ramp is around 400m from the front gate and guests are welcome to leave vehicles and trailers on the property for convenience. Note : The reservoir is currently only open to electric powered boats and canoes. Dogs are welcome but must be very well behaved around sheep. Flushing toilet available at the shearing shed. Good access for caravans and large RV's. Local attractions are the historic towns of Maldon, Clunes, Avoca and Dunolly all part of the Central Goldfields.

The Blue Stone Barn Site
Peaceful getaway
Great spot with private camping areas. Mark is a wonderful host. Recommended to anyone.

Weeping Willow (main site)
Mark was an exceptional host and catered for all our needs. The spot is lovely very clean and quiet and with no close neighbours it was great to just sit and relax and watch the water and the amazing bird life. We are both elderly and the site was easy to negotiate. i loved the tiny kingfisher birds with their striking plumage and the ever busy swallows swooping for the hatching insects. Fishing? I am too unstable to get too serious, but I did Polaroid some huge carp in the shallower sections and they would make some very exciting sight fishing if you just wanted the fun without the eating. Regret the visit was so short and with luck we I’ll make it back. Thanks Mark for a most enjoyable stay.

Spillway View
Mark was very welcoming, his property is beautiful and relaxing. The property is set out so every site feels like its own sanctuary. Our group had a wonderful time, hiring the portable toilet was a great addition for us. We can’t wait to come back.

The Long Hole
By the creek and huge River Gums
Lovely large flat space , with shade if you wanted it under the huge river gums, alongside a flowing creek. We relaxed and enjoyed a couple of nights here whilst exploring Maldon and Maryborough. Great spot and we would recommend it.

Creek Flat
Our stay at Rodborough Vale was one of our most memorable, the aussie bush setting was incredibly relaxing and the birdlife was amazing.
