This Hipcamp has a lot of things going for it. It’s well maintained with mowed grass and mulch placed over any areas prone to mud. It’s peaceful and fairly private. The two sites are barely visible from one another due to some bushy trees between the two. We camped in the smaller of the 2 sites and we had ample space for 2 campers. We plan to come back here again in the future as it was such a beautiful place to stay.
For bird lovers – the site is often visited daily by chatty kookaburras, crimson rosellas, eastern yellow robins, yellow-faced honey eaters and one inquisitive bassian thrush.
Downsides – Nearest Telstra or Vodafone reception is 5-10 minute drive into town. Access to campsites via a 50m decent down a narrow bumpy dirt road which may be too challenging for large caravan rigs. Recommend checking with Keren before booking.

Fantastic location, camping a few metres from the river, surrounded by wild life and some elusive marine life. Although less than 10 minutes to Noojee the location is quiet, surrounded by bush, and Keren and Mikey make you feel very welcome.

Gorgeous spot by the river and open paddocks. We were lucky to have almost full moon and a fog blanket.
Other campers on the adjacent property were slightly noisy all in all a very relaxing place

We had a lovely stay at Riverside. Such a peaceful spot with plenty of space. The river was lovely to sit by during the day and the fire at night. Plenty of things to explore around the local area and a couple of nice pubs nearby too!

Beautiful little spot. Very peaceful. Slight drizzle didn't worry us as the lovely grassy grounds kept from making everything muddy. Dogs loved it. Little creek ran alongside our campfire...heaven!

We had the most amazing, magical weekend here. The sites are perfectly positioned along the river. We had both sites booked out so had the place to ourselves. Along with yabbies and eels. The kids had a ball in the river and we all came back home fully charged after being in nature. We’re very grateful that Keren and family are sharing this beautiful spot with people. Thanks for having us, we’d love to come back!

We had a wonderful long weekend at this spot, which was pure magic - along the la Trobe, with no-one else around, but the sounds of birds and insects. Close to Noojee and Neerim for shops and pubs. Thanks for having us, we’ll definitely be back!

Keren's property is the perfect place for a weekend get away. Camp spots are right on the river and are lovely and grassy. Very peaceful place with plenty of birdlife. Lovely place to unwind and take in your surroundings. Dog friendly.
Plenty to do in the surrounding area, with Noojee just up the road, Tanjil Bridge and Torongo Falls.

Riverside was so beautiful and tranquil. Lovely spot right next to the Latrobe River with access. Hearing the birds in the morning was lovely way to wake up. So nice to have the place to ourselves. Highly recommend.

We had an amazing time staying at the riverside paddock. The location was absolutely peaceful, with plenty of space for our dogs to run and explore freely. Being surrounded by nature, waking up to birds singing, and enjoying the serenity of the Latrobe River made it the perfect off-grid escape.
The campsite was spacious, offering both privacy and tranquility. We loved disconnecting from the busy world and immersing ourselves in the natural beauty of the paddock. Keren was always quick to respond online and Michael was there to greet us upon arrival and gave us such a warm and friendly welcome to his beautiful property, which made us feel right at home. This place is ideal for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway, whether you want to have a dip in the river, enjoy a quiet moment with nature, or let your kids or dogs play in the open space. Highly recommend this idyllic spot, and we can’t wait to return!

Karen's place is beautiful. Just being by the river relaxing was a perfect holiday for us.
We met Mike who was friendly and very helpful and communication with Keren was prompt.

The proximity to the La Trobe river, cool & refreshing on a summer’s day. A camp spot with plenty of space & many spots which shaded perfectly on a hot afternoon. Surrounded by dense forest, the tranquility & abundant birdsong provided the perfect opportunity to rest & relax. Lovely hosts, prompt with replies and knowledge of the area. An idyllic spot on a working farm. Highly recommend.

The campsite is on a pristine piece of land, it’s absolutely beautiful. If you are an artist it would be an ideal place to paint. The only slight downside is that the other campsite is a bit too close. Apart from that it’s the perfect spot for a very relaxing and peaceful holiday.

We had an amazing weekend away! A great spot, minutes outside of Noojee and the Nooj pub! The site alongside the alpine river was the perfect way to spend a hot Saturday afternoon. Very friendly & accommodating hosts!

What a fabulous location - well deserving of five stars. A flat site by a lovely free flowing river, tall trees and forest. So private and peaceful. We were there over a long weekend when the other site was also booked, but the set up meant it was still very private and relaxing. We will definitely be back.

A blissfully peaceful stay just a short drive out of Melbourne. The site is situated next to the Latrobe River so you overlook the beautiful river from your campsite. There’s a campfire set up and crayfish in the river for plus you’re surrounded by bush so cars in sight! You could spend days here just enjoying the property but nearby there’s bushwalks, fishing, and lovely little towns right on your doorstep. Drive 15mins into Neerim South and there’s a bakery, supermarket, pub, op shop and even a dump point. Everything you need for an off grid stay. The camp hosts we’re lovely and very helpful. A 10/10 in our book so get yourself down there for a peaceful stay!

We had a fabulous stay on Keren‘s land.
The farm is beautiful, and private. Camping next to the Latrobe river was a great place to relax with friends. Plenty of birdlife, friendly and accommodating hosts. A great place to explore the region with walks and fishing close by, and with easy access to the Noojie and Toolshed pubs.
Thanks for having us, and all the best with the organic farm venture.

A super property. We loved this wonderful spot on the river which is very private, accessible for swimming, flat ground for tents/vans and sheltered.
Michael & Keren are fabulous hosts and made our stay very enjoyable
