This was the perfect first stop after disembarking from the SOT at night, only a 15 minute drive away. We turned up in the dark and someone met us to show us our site. It was a quiet peaceful place.

Lovely spot we stayed 2 nights made very welcome on Arriving the water front was a nice day out nice shopping mell fish & chips were so nice at the cafe on the front of the harbour

Great campsite. The sites were full, but everyone was quiet and respectful. Peaceful night. Lovely sunset sky.
The power lines are not actually LIVE, so when looking at photos, don't worry about them. The dirt road into camp is super corrugated but only a few hundred metres long.

Convenient location with easy access. close to the SOT and also close to Geelong cbd and beaches.
Super friendly hosts who were extremely accommodating.
Level access and lots of space for the kids to run around.

Nice level sites, peaceful and ended up with power and water thanks to Jackie. If they had a rubbish bin it would be 10 out 10. After a day on the Spirit of Tasmania it turned to be great. Jackie is so friendly. Good luck, definitely recommend.

We had a lovely couple of days staying at Laugh on Larkins. The site is ideally situated to explore the surrounding area and sample some of the wineries nearby. We were welcomed on arrival and lots of help was offered to us as new caravaners. Highly recommended.

Absolutely phenomenal! We had the best time at this Hipcamp, Jackie and jimmy were amazing, they went above and beyond for us, we ended up extending our stay because we loved it here so much, so close to town our kids absolutely loved it and we made so many friends here it was the best, we will definitely be back and we will be telling everyone we know about this place, absolute 10/10 for us!

Great spot to set up, especially as a home base for doing things in / around Geelong! Jackie was lovely to deal with! There were maybe 6 other caravans on site but all are spaced out very well so I would say that every bookable spot has privacy. Very quiet area. Our dogs loved running around in the open area behind our tents!
There are public toilets approx 2 minute drive away but the site is probably best for caravans rather than tents (which we had!)
We'll definitely keep this site in mind when camping near Geelong next!

Very good spot to camp. Great prices and a Hipcamp with power and water too. Win win. Hosts are awesome and very accommodating. Wish we could have stayed longer but being booked out is not surprising as it’s a great Hipcamp. We will be back for sure.

Great spot & location for the SoT & if you want to spend a few days around Geelong.
Felt safe, large sites, open paddock for kids to play in & had easy access to water hookup.
Would definitely recommend this spot. Jackie was super responsive & easy to deal with. Thanks for having us.

Location to the Spirit of Tasmania ferry terminal only 15 mins drive was fantastic. Site was very clean and hosts very friendly. I would recommend Larkins Lane to anyone boarding the ferry or wanting close access to Geelong and surrounding areas

We loved our stay here, we ended up staying on two seperate occasions. So close to everything you need but also a quiet and safe place to sleep. We had some awesome sunsets here. The hosts were very welcoming.
Perfect overnight before the SOT which was only a 15/20 minute drive from the property.

We enjoyed our five days at Laughs on Larkins. Jackie and her partner were friendly and very accommodating. The location of the property was perfect for everything we wanted to do while we were in the area. Communication was excellent. Alan, the camp dog, was a real hit with the family. For such a new property, they’re off to a great start, and we look forward to seeing how they develop the property into the future.

We enjoyed staying at this property. It’s location was well situated to visiting friends from all over the Geelong region
Jackie was super friendly and our dog enjoyed the freedom of their property.

The host is friendly and accommodating, but there are some notable downsides. There’s no dump station, which can be inconvenient for motorhome travelers. I also struggled to find a trash bin on-site, so I had to take my rubbish with me. While there is a playground, it isn’t accessible to guests with children. Additionally, there are no other family-friendly amenities available. If you’re just looking for a basic power and water hookup, it might suffice, but if you need more facilities, this may not be the best option.
