We had a fabulous stay at Kangaloon for a weekend riding the rail trail close by. The site was well set up for 2 vans with a fire pit and wood ready to go. Lots of shade and space. Loved the peaceful location and the walk up the hill to watch the sunset.

Absolutely fabulous hosts who left us wood and some tank water. Lovely large area. Lots beautiful wildlife, especially the massive wombat & bird life. A lot to do in the area but also great place to chill and enjoy a few 🍺

Very nice cleared flat grassland, perfect for setting up camp.
Site is right on the roadside so there is some, albeit low traffic noise but a nice halfway stopover enroute from Melbourne to the high country.

Perfect spot for our noisy boys to relax! Would be great for a group going together but we were lucky enough to have it all to ourselves. Great distance to town where there is lots to enjoy. Will be back!

Great clear directions to this amazing property. We camped with our friends, there was plenty of room and a few flat spots to choose from. A fantastic fire pit kept us warm and our friends who are bird photographers were beyond excitement to be visited by 2 kingfishers. Will definitely stay again.

Great little spot. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and having it to ourselves was also an added bonus.
Plenty of room to stretch out, play games, have a fire and just relax.
Access to the campsite is also very easy to find, making check in a breeze

What a beautiful quiet serene camping spot! They even provided water and firewood just in case we didn't bring anything. Definitely recommend and will be back!

We had a fantastic time!
Such a lovely, peaceful place to stay.
We only just got our 30 foot 5th in and turned around, so if you're bigger than that we suggest a quick trip to take a look for yourselves.
It was easy once we were through the gates though.
Some good, flat space and it drains very dust after rain. So no drama in 4wd getting out.
A nice firepit there and it's a great space for bigger groups.
Looking forward to staying again soon.

Wonderful spot to relax with beautiful views across nearby hills. Plenty of flat areas to choose from and got a fire going using provided firewood and fire drum. Was great to meet you Brad and we hope to be back soon

This was a great camp experience. My kids loved it as I did also. The campsite is well accessible for a van the size of mine. Brad & Sue are lovely accomodating people whom are very helpful. The property has spectacular views of the surrounding mountains. Plenty of firewood was left for us as well.

Had a great 2 night stay at the cattle yards. Brad was a great host, easy communication and precise instructions on how to get there. Walk to the top of the hill for a beautiful sunset view, even though close to the road it did not disturb us, and was only 5 mins from towns. Would definitely stay again when in town.

It was really nice spot for our family of 4. Portable water was available. The town was 5 minutes away. The locals were warm and very friendly. When we got there, Brad was there to greet us. Lake Eildon was 20 minutes away which was a beautiful day out. Boating on the river for a couple of hours and as a wonderful experience for our family. On the last day too, he came to say goodbye.

Brad and Sue offer a beautiful, private camping spot by a creek. There’s amazing bird life around the campsite and plenty of kangaroos up the hill. We didn’t see the wombat, but it had left plenty of calling cards. The site was very easy to find, being quite close to the road. There is a bit of road noise, but nothing too bad. Proximity to Alexandra with all its services is very convenient. The site itself is large and grassy with plenty of space for groups of all sizes and various camping setups. There is a lovely fire pit area, and plenty of wood nearby. Brad and Sue were great hosts, making sure we were ok, without being overbearing. We would come again in a heartbeat!

Thanks for the awesome stay, would be back in a heartbeat, plenty of room. Privacy and wood provided with a fire fit and table and chairs. Well signed and easy to get to. We love nothing more then supporting a small farm and hardly ever stay at parks.

The Cattleyards at Brad & Sue’s place was a great base for us to explore the surrounding area. We have a 21ft van & the access was totally fine, with plenty of room to manoeuvre. It’s really picturesque & listening to the bell birds was lovely! The campgrounds are close to UT Creek Rd but even in school holidays there wasn’t much traffic. Excellent value, too!

We had the most perfect weekend camping at Easter. The site is spacious and accommodated 11 of us easily with room to kick the footy, set up hammocks, do morning Pilates, you name it. A 15 minute drive to Wilson for swimming was just what we needed to cool off. The bellbirds were hypnotic. There were no mozzies or flies all weekend. We loved the fireplace set up and wood provided. Brad and Sue were so welcoming with fresh eggs and fruit, and also gave us privacy and space to completely enjoy ourselves. Tips to walk around the property and where to enjoy sunset were great and completed the experience for us. Thank you!

Perfect little private block of land with a beautiful ambience of birds. So close to Lake Eildon. Heaps of space to park vehicles and drop out the swags and sit around the fire drum provided. Had a great stay, thanks Brad and Sue!

Great little spot. Brad and Sue have a wonderful job on keeping it private. Birds and wildlife are every where. Got to see a wombat. Alexandra is a wonderful little town with every thing you would need.

We had such a lovely weekend, completely private spot, heaps of space to chose from and shady spots as well. Brad gave us good tips and told us where to walk through their paddocks to get an amazing view of the sunset!

Great space and exactly as represented on the app. It is very private, is close to a road but not a problem. Plenty of space, we were 2 vans and 4 adults. The Bellbirds singing was lovely and added to the vibe. It was warm so we didn’t use the fireplace provided with firewood.

We had a great stay at Cattle Yards. The hosts Brad and Sue were very welcoming and the site was private and green. We were offered eggs which we turned into a delicious omelette … Lots of birds chirping away which was very relaxing and a small creek flowing past our site… overall, a great spot and pretty quiet. We would definitely come back.

Fantastic camp close to town. Brad and sue even dropped off some fresh eggs for us to have with breakfast. Plenty of room for a group. No wifi or phone coverage so is perfect for a disconnect from the world.
