We started off spending weekends camping on our peaceful pocket of bush paradise when we built our home. We have since kept the campsite maintained and a place for family and friends to stay and escape their busy lives. Most recently, we have opened it up to Hipcamp in late 2020 where we have loved sharing our property and getting to know fellow campers.Backed onto native bushland, your private campground will provide the perfect, peaceful escape. The spacious campground is located in the corner of our 5 acre private property and is surrounded by native bushland and no direct neighbours.  The campground is protected and provides a windbreak from the predominant South Westerly winds. There are NO FACILITIES, so you must have your own camp toilet in order to stay. There is fresh tank water available, suitable for drinking. Our preference is for campers to fill up at the beginning of your stay as it is located on the private house property. Located only 8km from the township and beaches of Inverloch and picturesque Bunurong Marine National Park, it is the perfect location to visit and explore the local area, including wineries, small villages, cafes, farmers markets, rail trails and walking tracks, beaches and craft outlets scattered throughout Southern Gippsland coast and hills. Wilson's Promontory National Park (under 100km to Tidal River) and Phillip Island are both easy day trips away. A designated camp fire is available and permitted as long as it's not in the fire restriction periods. Please BYO firewood. Waste and recycling bins available onsite.  Pets are welcome. They must be wildlife friendly in light of the fact we are backed onto bush with wildlife being regular visitors. There is only farm fencing, so they will need to be trained and owner's responsibility. If you are bringing a dog, please reference this at the time of booking. Price is for 2x adults per night. Any extra adults will be charged at $30pp per night. Kids of any age stay free. Private Coastal Bush Escape
Brooke’s land is such a beautiful location. It’s lovely and flat making it so easy to set up, the surroundings are peaceful and lovely to look at. And the attention to detail didn’t go unnoticed. There’s a tree swing, which was the highlight of our daughter’s stay, as well as other outdoor games, a picnic table, a fire pit and rubbish bins provided. We’ll definitely be visiting again :)

We had such a great stay here! A peaceful little spot with just the right amount of space and some fun outdoor games that our toddler absolutely loved. The fresh eggs from the host’s chooks were a perfect touch for breakfast. Highly recommend, and we’ll definitely be back. Thanks again!

We loved camping at Brooke's property. It is probably the most well-kept hipcamp I have come across so far. The location is excellent and Brooke was a very helpful host. We would definitely return, hopefully the weather will be better next time 🙂

Private Coastal Bush Escape
Worth the price for a peaceful, relaxing stay! We spent two nights, and were lucky enough to see some wombats, wallabies, and an array of different birds. The site has a picnic table and lots of games. Perfect amount of shade but also flat, cleared space. Close enough to the town if you need anything, but far enough out it feels secluded. Definitely recommend!

Camping at Brooke’s private beach escape was really easy and enjoyable. The land was beautiful and the area of Inverloch and Wonthaggi was stunning. Only a 10 min drive from either town it’s in a perfect location. Everything you need at the campsite was there - table, chair, bins, flat ground, access to water and even a very friendly and adorable golden retriever popped in for a short visit (which worked out well as she kept our Goldie happy!) Will definitely book again and recommend to mates.

Beautiful secluded spot. So peaceful with birds and wildlife nearby. Plenty of room and dog friendly. Very easy to visit nearby sights. Would highly recommend. Brooke was great with communication and very helpful.

Super private, surrounded by open spaces and also shaded by large native trees. Recycling and Rubbish bins are on site. Games box was a nice touch. Will return.

Great Hipcamp over the long weekend. Brooke’s property is beautiful and the set up for camping is amazing. We went with our 20ft caravan, our friend, our daughter and there is a great fire pit there, games and a swing. Also having bins on site is a massive plus! We got a visit from her Golden Retriever Gypsy who is a lovely dog who loves a pat. Going into town and seeing how busy it was there reminded how good Hip Camps are. Will be back!

Highly recommend this quiet and secluded hipcamp. A bit pricey but the place is flat ,grassy and well maintained .And you get it all to yourself. Great firepit and rubbish bins provided . A little swing and totum tennis make it great for kids also . Would definately return when we get the chance.

A beautiful peaceful spot to camp. Plenty of flat area for our camper trailer. Was just myself, my partner and our dog Nala, but would also be great with a small group of friends. A short drive from beautiful beaches too. Definitely recommend if you want a quiet escape away from other campers.

Brooke’s camp is amazing. The privacy, fire pit, the birds, fresh eggs and tranquility. Instructions were excellent. Close to Cape Patterson, Zeal and Flow cafe is worth a visit, along with the beaches. Cannot wait to return.

A delightful campsite and easy to find thanks to Brooke’s excellent communication. The camp is very private, on a lovely grassy area and has established gumtrees for shade. Loved sitting around the campfire.

We loved the spot! Brooke was incredible to deal with, extremely welcoming and friendly! Area was well looked after, neat and tidy and had some bins available for us to use! Plenty of firewood cut ready to go, nice fire pit and picnic table. We got the chance to take our puppy on his first ever camping trip. Plenty of space for him to explore on a long lead and enjoy the outdoors! We would absolutely recommend this spot to anyone looking for a private getaway spot!

This was our second time staying on Brooke’s land and there will definitely be a third! The surrounds are so picturesque and immaculately kept, and the firepit with ample wood was perfect for the cool evening. The site feels so remote and private, yet it’s super close to both Inverloch and Wonthaggi. Whether you are a couple and dog (like us) or a larger group, you won’t be disappointed with Brooke’s spot.
