A beautiful, peaceful space with an abundance of birdlife. We also saw a Pobblebonk frog! A lovely way to unplug and unwind.

It was a nice place to camp. There was sufficient distance between other campers. There were plenty of trees on our site so we managed to get our hammock set up. John was friendly and was there on our arrival to help us get to our space. Would happily camp here if we are up this way again.

The Heathcote Bushcamp was a great stay! The property is tidy, easy to access and the added bonus of toilets and sinks for washing.
John and Cindy are lovely and even delivered easter eggs on Sunday morning 😊
John was super accommodating to help with any questions we had, and we even extended our stay an additional night. Was rather busy the first couple of nights being Easter weekend, but the rest of our stay we had the whole site to ourselves, which was awesome! We look forward to coming back and would definitely recommend!

The owner was very welcoming and the amenities were clean and well stocked. The owner offered firewood for a small fee and provided firepits if you needed one.

Loved the camping spot we got at this site - friendly host and good firewood supply. Toilets are clean, there's handsoap and washing liquid for plates and the environment is well looked after! Totally recommend staying here, each site has a firepit and hot plates and the stars at night are amazing.

Nice and quiet place in a bush setting with clean toilets and potable water. John and his wife were fantastic, so helpful and friendly and the Easter eggs were an unexpected and added bonus.

Had an amazing few days at Heathcote Bushcamp, welcomed on arrival by Cindy, greeted later by John with a bucket of water for putting the fire out. Lots of space between plots, toilets kept clean, sink for washing dishes and hands. Was given a welcome hand setting up campfire from Phil. Easter eggs were shared around, too. As a solo female camper I felt completely safe, they were around if needed anything and someone checked in daily. Highly recommend, will definitely be going back.

Great spot for camping. Being Easter there were quite a few groups but the sites were separated by trees and bushes, giving us privacy.

A nice bush camps with toilets and fairly private. John was a fantastic host helpful and friendly. Make sure you go and say hello to his chickens if you visit haha. Recommended

Really enjoyed this campsite.
It was really hot the days we were there, but there was enough shade and the scenery lends itself to a cosy camp feeling.
The first night we were there mostly by ourselves and it was lovely to enjoy the quiet, also I found it charming waking up to the rooster sounds.
The host was lovely and even brought us buckets of water for the fire pit. The facilities were great, toilets clean and the grey water tanks were a fantastic help.
When others arrived, there was enough space in the camp area that we still had our privacy and the quiet after 10:30 was a nice courtesy.
There was a lovely lake about 30 minutes away that was great for escaping the heat and of course the STARS. Absolutely stunning, Heathcote is a treasure.
Would love to come back for some cooler weather!

Had a wonderful weekend at Heathcote. John was a welcoming host, and directed us into a space which was plenty large enough for the 4 of us, but also offered plenty of shade and protection from the heat! Toilets were clean, and site was generally very well kept. Great to be able to bring our dogs along as well, and we were lucky enough to have the place to ourselves

We had a lovely stay here! A few trees in the campground help provide shade and privacy, the compost toilet was clean and the hospitality was great! Within 30mins to Lake Eppalock, so close to Heathcote - it's hard to find camps that aren't in a caravan park in this area ! Thank you for a great stay- we'll be back to try those free range eggs!

John's Hipcamp was azmaing! The site was very private and surrounded by bush, you definitely feel amongst nature there with all the wildlife and scenery. Check-in was perfect and John was extremely friendly, helpful and accomodating!
I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone & have already passed this onto many friends to stay here as well!

Awesome place to get out with kids and pets, John and Cindy were absolutely lovely and checked in a few times to make sure all was going well. Nice soft green grass for tent camping, good spacing between sites and Phil who helps with the camp maintenance was an absolute gem. Will definitely be back 😊

Excellent Hipcamp! Despite it being fairly busy for Easter weekend, John took great care to plan out the best area for each group to camp so that we would still have some privacy and grassy sites for our tents. He also checked in throughout the weekend to make sure we had everything we needed, and toilets were kept super clean with toilet paper well stocked. Gorgeous bushland with lots to explore close by. 10/10, thanks for hosting us John!

John was really welcoming and attentive. We were given a decent size plot to share with our friends.
There are two clean long drop toilets and washing water is provided.
The proximity to Heathcote town is also great, about a 10 minute drive.

We loved camping on John's property, we had a group of 7 and had a great amount of space (we booked 2 sites).
The camp-site was so peaceful even on Easter weekend.
Toilets were clean and water provided to wash hands and dishes.
John was so lovley and accommodating! Delivered us a fire place and some fire wood as a small cost!
Defiently reccomend and will be back for a nice quiet weekend away again soon!

Hosts were very accomodating and being Easter weekend they ran chocolate eggs around for all of the guests. Greatly appreciated it and we loved our stay. Th and again for having us.
