We had such a lovely weekend at Galea Ranch! Sharelle and Wayne were so welcoming and accomodating, they even got the fire going for us when we arrived the first evening. The campsite was beautiful and very spacious, and the hot outdoor (but enclosed) shower felt like an extra luxury for a camping weekend! Perhaps the happiest camper was our two year old border collie who met his first highland cows. We also loved the location - just a short drive to some great walks or food options. Thanks so much Sharelle and Wayne - can't wait to come back soon!

I can not thank Wayne and Sharelle enough for the experience. The property is amazing. The camp spots were great, the eggs we purchased were the best eggs ever, the firewood was nice and dry with generous amounts and much cheaper than the bags from the service station.
We visited this camp with one of our NDIS participants and it was just perfect. We felt super secure on the property and Wayne and Sharelle could not have been any better hosts if they tried.
We also did a guided bush walk with Sharelle, where she showed us around the local state forrest and explained everything about the wildlife. Sharelles knowledge on deer hunting was amazing and we will definitely be back to do a weekend of guided deer hunting.
This property was amazing, extremely well maintained and super safe if you are camping alone. The toilets and shower were extremely clean. The animals are great to wake up to each morning. We can not recommend this place enough. It was perfect.

We will definitely be back and be recommending the camp.

Beautiful well maintained site. Very friendly and accommodating hosts. My son loved feeding the cows. Lots of activities to do in the area but we didn't get around to much because we just enjoyed hanging out at camp. The waterfalls nearby are beautiful and there are lots of hikes to choose from. My favourite part was how quiet it got at night and how starry the sky is. Pure bliss.

We loved the location of Galea ranch. It was nestled in beautiful bushland. Our kids loved feeding the animals and Wayne and Sharelle went above and beyond to make our stay perfect! Would definitely recommend and will return!!

This was one of the best stays I have had on Hipcamp. Beautiful location close to the Cathedral Mountains. I took a trip with my daughter and we really enjoyed the experience we had had. Clean and neat site with a prepared campfire and wood ready and waiting to be lit. Privacy screen, benches around the campfire, and backed on to nature made the site beautiful and serene and comfortable . The shower was beautiful and so nice after the hike. Sharelle gave us food to give to the adorable cows. I will definitely be back again. ,

Gorgeous camp! I had a little solo adventure and felt so safe, happy and relaxed at Galea Ranch. Sharelle and Wayne went above and beyond taking care of the site and me, and even invited me in on some of their farm and animal activities when I said I loved the animals! They left me extra firewood too as I was on my own. The shower was beautifully designed and so nice to have a quick clean after a long day. Can’t wait to come back 🥰

This is a great camp if you plan to head up in to the high country and need a stop over or a base to explore the local area from. Lots of room to set up and the hosts provide plenty of information - invaluable if you’re staying more than a couple of nights.

Wayne & Sharelle were incredibly welcoming and made the whole experience feel personal and relaxed. Their property is beautifully maintained with plenty of open space, peaceful surroundings, and a true connection to nature. The site was easy to find, well-signposted, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

Sharelle and Wayne were warm and welcomed us when we arrived. They led us to our camp site which had privacy and plenty of space. We were first time campers and they explained the on site amenities really well. Toilet was really clean and the playground entertained the little one for a long while.
The weather wasn't so kind to us on the first night so we left the next day. We would definitely visit again

Wayne and Sharelle have built such a beautiful place to stay and they are so welcoming. The view of Cathedral ranges from the site is incredible. I loved watching the sunset on the ridge. All the animals at the property are just gorgeous too. I will be back with my 3year old!

It was our first glamping and we enjoyed there so much! The tent and campfire pit were awesome. The host Sharelle was so kind and gave us a lot of tips where to visit and what we can do around there. She was so friendly and made sure we were comfortable and relaxing our time there. If was such an amazing experience and we would love to come back in Winter ! Thank you, Sharelle

Galea Ranch is the perfect family and dog friendly location, close to the local sights. My kids loved feeding Steele, Lottie and Peaches and just chilling on the hammocks. And of course, you can’t go wrong with s’mores over the fire on a cooler night! The outdoor shower was the perfect touch - it was like an oasis amongst the ferns!

A beautiful camp ground that we all loved, the kids fed the highland cows and Shetland pony multiple times a day, the hammocks and fairy lights were a lovely touch and Sharelle was so friendly and helpful, we felt completely at home and so welcome, we will definitely be back

Camping at Galea Ranch was the best. So much thought and care put into a beautiful space. Lots of play options for my 5yo plus feeding apples to the animals. The hosts are very kind and welcoming. We'll be back, it was so easy. Thanks Sharelle and Wayne!

Absolute gem of a spot. Incredibly private, well maintained, level spots in a quiet location. Spotless bathroom and shower available as well: both were much appreciated.
Hosts were lovely and provided apples to feed the bull, cow and horses.
We will 100% be back.

My family and I had a wonderful time camping Sharelle & Wayne's. The property is great and the campsites all very well thought out with solid firepits with seating, hammocks, and even great toilet and shower facilities.
They are both wonderfully thoughtful hosts too, bringing some toys for our toddler, plenty of apples to feed the animals, and topping up the firewood.
It's evident the effort they put in to making sure all their guests have a wonderful stay. Greatly appreciated, thank you :)

Wonderful wonderful place!
We loved the site! It was very private, its own campfire, hammocks, and lights.
Wayne even gave us some apples to feed the beautiful bull, cow, and pony.

We had an amazing stay at Galea Ranch! The hosts were incredibly friendly, accommodating, and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. The amenities were excellent, making the camping experience super comfortable.
The setting was stunning, with beautiful bushland and mountain views surrounding the open paddock. There was plenty of space for our large group to spread out, which was perfect since we were celebrating a birthday with games and activities. The farm animals were such a fun addition—we loved being able to feed and pet them!
The campfire setup was great, making for cozy nights under the stars. Overall, it was a fantastic spot for a group getaway, and we’d definitely come back. Highly recommend!

We had an incredible stay at this campsite! There’s so much to enjoy, from stargazing under the clear night sky to meeting the friendly Highlander bull and feeding the adorable pony. The site itself is spacious, giving plenty of room to relax and unwind, and the beautiful lighting around the camping area adds such a warm and inviting touch in the evenings.
One of the biggest highlights for us was that it’s off-leash dog-friendly! It made our stay even more special, knowing our pup could roam and enjoy the space just as much as we did.
Wayne and Sharelle were amazing hosts, so welcoming and thoughtful, making sure we had everything we needed for a great experience. We can’t wait to come back! Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and memorable getaway.

I cannot recommend this place enough! The land is gorgeous and so relaxing, the hosts are absolutely amazing and went out of their way to make us as comfortable as possible and we’re so friendly! We’re from the states and we’re exploring Australia on a rv camper/caravan , we also have a 3 year old so we weren’t sure if he’d be entertained enough , but he splashed in the creek, fed the cows and pony AND the hosts had a small playground with outdoor activities for kiddos , we liked it so much that we extended our stay here! We will be looking back at this trip very fondly not only because of how beautiful Australia is but also of how friendly these hosts were and what a great time we had in their property! Thank you Wayne & Sharelle!

Great spot, well thought through with comfortable amenities. We especially appreciated the firepit, seating and firewood. 20 mins only from Marysville. No dogs in Cathedral state park, but good dog friendly hiking tracks in Marysville and around Mt Gordon. We were the only ones there, so nice and quiet, but the sites are divided anyway, so probably wouldn't be an issue to share with other campers.
