Great place to stay plenty of room for caravans , camper trailers , tents or swags . Clean amenities worth the extra cost . Lovely people very helpful and friendly. Will definitely be back

Really nice, open area that’s close to country towns. The grounds are very well maintained and clean. The lake has a couple of boats and the nearby hills have decent views of the surrounding area.

We were the only people there given its off season and it was incredibly peaceful. The scenery was lovely, with kangaroos in the field just behind our site. Would stay again.

Site 4 Corner camping land

We had a choice where to set up as we were the only ones there. It was nice and quiet with no one around. Plenty of room. The dam was well below the level in the photos but it still provided a nice view. Despite the crappy weather we enjoyed our stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Franks Farm. Kind, friendly, lovely owners 😊 We were thrilled with how much space we had. Our young children loved the playground and animals around the property. We'll definitely be back on the otherside of winter.

The property manager was fantastic. However being Easter weekend it was very overcrowded with music playing all night. We were secluded by the lake however other parts of the property had 100+ people. Felt more like a poorly run caravan park than the private experience you expect from a hip camp. Left a day early.

We found the campsite to be quite different to the website and had a mixed experience. The toilet/shower facilities were not enough for the 15+ groups on the site, especially for an extra $15 per person. The site advertised a games room was included however the online pictures were of a different games room which we didn’t have access to. We had concerns about the lack of fire regulations and there was no fire fighting equipment. We had to evacuate on the last night as another group caused a bushfire at the entrance to the camp. This meant the whole camp were endangered for hours until the CFA were able to escort us off the property. The owners were lovely people however they did not come around and alert groups or even ask that all other campfires be put out. We did not feel safe and had a very scary experience which was disappointing. We would consider returning only in winter months when the property would not be so dry, and access a site without danger of large trees overhead given our site was particularly windy.

I highly recommend Frank’s Farm, especially for families with young kids. The kids had a wonderful time with all the facilities, and the hosts were both lovely people. There is so much to do on the farm, and it is perfect for first time campers. I wouldn’t stay here if you want to ‘get away from it all’ because it can be a little busy, plus it’s near the highway, but it ticked all the boxes for us - a genuine camping experience with all the facilities and mod cons (but way better than a holiday park). Loved it!

We loved Frank’s Farm. The farm was very well kept, our kids (7yo and 5yo) loved roaming the grounds, the playground and the animals. Only a short drive to snow and only 90 mins to the city - perfect for a quick getaway with the family like we did.

What a wonderful place to camp....great views, ample space allocated to your site. Steven was great with communication and always answered his phone lol. I would definitely recommend staying at Franks Farm to anyone.

Need a tidy up to justify the price

The camp was quite underwhelming for the price we were charged, unfortunately the photos don't reflect the actual campsites shown. Some of the toilets had poo smeared all over the walls, glad we didn't fork out the $15 charge per person. However check-in was easy and signage was adeqaute.

We booked a stay through Hipcamp in early February 2025, planning an overnight trip with our partner, kids, and dog. Unfortunately, the experience didn’t quite live up to the glowing reviews that convinced us to book. The property was not as well-maintained as described. We paid $15 per person to use the bathrooms near the main house, but they were too far for the kids to walk to when they needed to go, so we had to drive. The shower was dirty, with visible hair and scum, and there was only a small amount of toilet paper with no hand towels or toiletries provided besides hand wash. Given that the total cost was close to a budget hotel stay, we expected better facilities. The landscape also didn’t match the photos. The "lake" was nearly dried up, and the grass was extremely dry, creating a fire hazard. There were no fire safety guidelines, no water buckets nearby, and unfortunately, a spark from our barbecue set a small patch of grass on fire. With the strong winds that day, it felt risky. While we understand that weather conditions and droughts are out of the host’s control, some fire safety measures would have been appreciated. On a positive note, the host was polite and communicated well, but overall, we felt the value didn’t match the price or expectations set by the listing. Would we book again? Maybe in a different season, but only if maintenance and safety concerns were addressed.

Peaceful & quiet with nice view of dam. Big power lines behind but not close. Bits & pieces left on ground by previous campers so they dam area looks a bit unloved. The camping area around the dam needs a good cleanup. In summer grass not green (as in photos). I still had a good sleep in a secure environment. Many wallabies about.

Overpriced!!! Couldn’t use any facilities without paying extra. Playground was definitely creepy and near some random car yard/ trailer trash. Do not come here with kids and let the photos fool you! You can use the lake and a little boat but other than that it was a huge disappointment!

We went off peak so we were lucky to have almost the entire plane/water view for ourself. Woke up to beautiful views and wild animals in the morning. Steven is a lovely host and maintained the common areas well. Would love to be back some other time!

Site 10 Great View Site

We enjoyed our camping to the fullest here at franks farm and the view and location was breathtakingly beautiful. The owners were very welcoming and friendly. The lake was a bonus with the two boats thats totally free to take out. Very calm and quiet environment and lovely campers all around. The public area and gaming room with the toilets are clean and well maintained Would definitely recommend and come back.
