Our farm is only a minutes' drive from the township of Kinglake. Or a 20-minute easy walk to shops and cafes. We are close to all the Yarra Valley and Kinglake Ranges have to offer from wineries to the National Parks for hiking, biking and 4WD driving. Fowkes family farm is a small, hobby, flower farm. Made up of 15 acres of working land and 35 acres of bush land. We have a 2-acre orchard with seasonal fruit available to be picked. ( Dec - April) The farm has over 100 king protea bushes and many other varieties of protea. Seasonal pick your own flowers too. ( Aug - March) Backing onto the national park and walking tracks. Jehosaphat Gully, shelley Harris Track, Mt Jerusalem Track. Walking distance to Kinglake historic walk, cookson Hill Track, Mt Everard Track, Bollygum Park We have 2 dogs, 7 pet sheep, 1 blue tongue lizard & chickens on the way. The farming area is completely fenced in, this is to keep the deer out, but you can venture out onto the property bush land with a guide or the correct map and navigation equipment. Eagles, cockatoos, black cockatoos, kookaburras, magpies, rosellas, king parrots, Gang-gang cockatoo, honey eaters can be spotted most days and lyrebirds if you’re keen to go looking. Small playground with swings, slide, monkey bars and sandpit.

Great spot, just near the centre of Kinglake. A nice site far enough away from other campers. Our host was fantastic! My family really enjoyed our stay.

Love,love,loved our time here.
We were met on arrival by Tamara she was the most lovely host so kind caring. Tamara and Dan were just so easy going nothing was to hard, from giving our kids food to feed her sheep to taken our kids to pick fruit from there Private orchard. It's a beautiful Quiet, farm stay. We will definitely be back. Thank you again Tamara and Dan.

My daughter and I had a great time camping at Tamara’s place. She was super friendly and helpful. Camp site set up with chairs, table and campfire. Great look out to the bush. It’s not remote or secluded bush camping. we were close to the other campers however this was a nice surprise as my daughter got on super well with the other kids. A great place for kids with a little play area. Would camp here again.

Peaceful and beautiful retreat.
We enjoyed a lovely stay overnight in our van at Fowkes Family Farm. We were warmly welcomed and introduced to the site and area by our very friendly host Tamara. We set up the van to make the most of the lovely views of the farm and forest and loved relaxing by the fire pit provided including access to lots of free dry firewood . The host had thought of lots of lovely touches like fairy lights at night to make the site work really well. The eco toilet and camping area were spotless and quite flat. It was very peaceful and quiet. It was wonderful to wake up to the beautiful bird calls. We enjoyed a lovely walk in the forest and through the garden and met the very friendly resident sheep. Tamara kindly provided us with some delicious apples and peaches from her orchard. It was a totally relaxing stay where we felt very welcomed and would highly recommend to campers and caravanners visiting the area.

Tamara is a beautiful soul that is running this hip camp amazingly. she was so welcoming. the property is beautiful and location great. we will be back!!
