It was terrible me and my friends went there from Adelaide after few hours drive for an emergency case we stoped and solve the issue. We arrived there around 2 am the lady come to us in a very rude way, she didn’t let us to stay there as we booked for two nights because we showed up very late and also we hadn’t our own toilet ( nothing mentioned about toilet in their website). She recommended us to stay in a public park instead of giving us a spot to set our tent. The weather was cold a rainy. She also said I’m going to refund but only $40 from $100 because we drive into her property in midnight but we didn’t receive that $40 dollar as well. I wouldn’t recommend you to chose this site for your enjoyment.

Megan's place was magical! The site we had was a large paddock that had loads of space for our group of 5 families. There was lots of flat areas and it was beautifully grassy.
Megan was one of the best we have ever had, she was extremely accommodating. She took our kids around to meet the various animals and even let us borrow the ride on lawnmower to take the kids for rides, which they loved. She even allowed our kids to do their easter egg hunt in her garden and gave loads of recommendations in the area. We even shared a drink a two with Megan! The group of friendly cows were a big hit and the baby joey's that we saw Megan walking and carrying were just adorable. The place was so peaceful and the star gazing at night was a delight. Simpson was a great base to explore many different places (we still wanted to do more). Could not recommend this place more.

We really liked it, thank you Megan for sharing this pleasant place with us. Very peaceful and very pleasant. The 2 cows georgia and beauty are very approachable, curious and very friendly🤗

We really enjoyed our stay here. Megan is a great host. She let me and my 4-year old son ride on the lawn mower and we could hold her little kangaroos. When we woke up, we could see her walking two other kangaroos.
The field was very spacious and we could stay anywhere we wanted.

We loved our stay! Megan was absolutely lovely and very accommodating. The site was easily accessible and fit our caravan fine (18’6 ft) but heaps of rooms for larger vans. It was very quiet and scenic and we enjoyed two perfect evenings with a campfire 👌🏻 Located near a couple of towns for anything you need along with not being far from the 12 Apostle’s for some sight seeing. Would absolutely recommend.

We stayed 2 nights and used the location to check out the area and to access the great ocean road which was a short 20 minute drive away. The most amazing location, peaceful, relaxing and some nice wildlife including 2 friendly resident cows. Megan was an amazing host, lovely person, helpful and a lot of knowledge to give on the nature and wildlife in the area. A lot of nice flat land and ample space to set up, have your privacy and enjoy the sounds of nature.

We realley enjoyed being this place.
Megan was a good and friendley hostes.
The place is perfect,on grass,private and quiet.
Beautiful view over the fields,with cows and kangeroos.
We recommend this camping spot.

Host Megan was lovely to meet and extremely kind and helpful. A gorgeous piece of rural Victoria to share with 2 beautiful ladies. We were very lucky to share the paddock with the girls. Only a quick 1 night visit, however, many memories made.

Enjoyed our stay here. Megan was so accommodating. Her pet cows and dog were a treat to everyone. She also let us drive her ride-on mower. Highly recommended.

Really lovely spot, incredible sunsets! Close to the national park for walks and only 25 mins to the coast. Megan was very helpful and made sure we had plenty of firewood. Definitely recommend!

Fabulous large, private sites surrounded by farm land. Megan offers a wonderful campsite away from the busy crowds. this allowed some recuperation between activities in the surrounding areas. We used Featherleaf sanctuary as a base to explore the Otway Tree Walk, Peterborough and Port Campbell.

We loved camping at Megan’s property. Waking up to beautiful countryside and her two lovely cows Beauty and Georgie. Plenty of space, good access to great ocean road and Megan was a great host. Thanks for having us!

Our stay at Megan’s place was great! The sunset and surrounding fields were beautiful and we loved being with the cows. Megan was really friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend.

We loved our stay, so much so that we had only planned for 2 nights and ended up staying for 4. Watching the bird life, the girls(cows) roam in the paddock and our visits from the big goofball Finnian were a highlight!
It’s was a great first trip in our cans and all only a short trip to some beautiful little towns.
Megan is a great host and was very accommodating! We will be going back for another trip in the near future.

We camped at Featherleaf Farm Retreat for 3 nights with our two kids aged 7 and 5 years and two dogs. We all had a blast and are already planning a return trip. There are three locations to choose from, including a top paddock with two delightful cows, Georgia and Beauty. No surprise where we went. Our two boys made best of friends with these two playful and curious personalities whose paddock we shared. Beauty loved her cuddles and scratches. Georgia is dignified and will happily accept any apples you may have.
Megan the host was warm and welcoming and gave us some wonderful insights into the area’s local wildlife. We listened to a chorus of birds during the day and the snuffles of kangaroos in the paddocks at night. A lolloping great big friendly dog, Finnigan, loves company and is happy to greet you.
We ensured we were self sufficient visiting this site. If you are bringing a portable toilet, Simpson, a 7 minute drive away, has a caravan park that provides free and easy disposal facilities. Port Campbell is a 30 minute drive.
We loved the views from our tent. In the mornings, the paddocks were covered in dew and evening sunsets give spectacular moments for photographs. The dark night skies were particularly awesome for our suburban born kids who were amazed by the Milky Way and Magellanic Clouds. They spent a long time shooting star and satellite spotting. Thanks Megan!
