Absolutely one of my favorite camping places. Even for those who are not into farming or anything related to agriculture, Nan’s farm is a great place to stay connected to nature and appreciate it better. The scenery of this farm is best seen at sunrise or sunset and the sights of sheep grazing peacefully in the fields and the endless views of the Yarra Ranges National Park add to the charm one will experience here. Not to mention the kindness with which Nan and his father took care of us was overwhelming. We will be back.

Beautiful spot! Lovely and relaxing, nice and secluded! We stayed at the dam site and it was perfect for us! Nan and his dad made everything so easy! Would highly recommend!

Our recent camping trip at Nan's farm property was a great. Despite some barking dogs through the night, the host was friendly and welcoming. Booking a site 1 with convenient toilets and shower close by. Other sites like the pond view look like great stays and site 2 had an amazing gully view. Nan was a great host, always available for assistance or extra supplies. The property offered various camping spots for different experiences. I'd recommend Nan's farm property for all types of camping experiences. Thanks, Nan!

This is one of my top 3 Hipcamp locations. The views are stunning, it's extremely peaceful and Nan and his dad are such lovely accommodating hosts. This is my second time visiting the property and I can easily say it won't be my last.

We loved camping here, we were originally planning on hiking in the area but the property was so big and each camp site was so private there was plenty to explore on the property. From the lake to the mountain views and animals.

Overall we had a good experience but there are a few things that would help. Check in wasn’t very clear- we weren’t sure where our site was and then when we were shown the way, we didn’t get directions to the bathroom. The bathroom was very dirty. It’s camping I know but it’s good to know what to expect! Finally the spot next to the dam was a tight squeeze. Beautiful but we only just got our camper trailer in. The other sites however - especially the one in the field next to us was huge and really lovely. The spot up by the other dam was also picturesque and we’d happily go there.
Overall this is a great place and we’d go back- if the state of the bathroom improved, directions were clearer and we picked a different site, it would be amazing.

Such a beautiful and peaceful spot. Nan was super welcoming and helpful. The views and tranquility were unbeatable. We also loved sharing the paddock with the sheep. We had the whole paddock to ourselves(apart from the sheep) so much space to explore and play (hunt for Bigfoot) and enjoy an open fire. We are already looking forward to returning. Warburton is such a beautiful place to be.

A beautiful location close to Warburton town, with breathtaking views. Our site was very spacious and felt like we are away from everything and had a proper break.
Nan was very friendly and supportive.
Some sites are further away from toilets and shower, so this is something worth checking before you book.
We loved our stay there despite the wet weather.

Despite having to leave early due to the rain drenching everything we owned I really loved our camp-site. Check in is easy, ground is flat, nice scenery. Toilet on site was a big bonus. Would recommend and come again!

Our family of 8 stayed in campsite 10 which had lots of room and views of the mountain. Short drive to town. Nan was responsive and was easily reachable over the phone if needed.

We had an amazing on Nan’s beautiful property! We stayed at the campsite on the hill which had amazing views of the surrounding mountains and offered privacy from other campers on the property. It was lovely to feel like you were in the bush whilst having the option of shower and toilet, and Warburton (such a lovely little town) only 5 min away. Would definitely come back and will recommend to others!

We were too close to where they had several dogs in an enclosure which barked through the night. There was quad bike action for a fair bit of the day. Got a headache towards the end of it. We had a nice time and the hosts were friendly but a bit on the expensive side for paddock camping.

Nan's property is was perfect for our family. We stayed at site 9, which was fully fenced and far away from all the other sites. Our two maremmas enjoyed herding the sheep in the paddock, and we had a peaceful time out in the bush! Thanks Nan, we will see you again!

We camped at site 11. It’s a big site for small to large size of group of people. The site is very quiet, it also has a great view of mountain top. Will come back again.

We loved camping at Nan's land. Site 1 we were on had fantastic views of the sunset and is close to the bathroom facility. Nan and his dad were really friendly and attentive, they even gave us some cucumbers and pears from their farm. We would go again.

Some very nice spots. The one we used on night one, site 6, by the dam was really nice. Put the ground had lots of litter’ used loo paper and quite dusty. For the high fees I would expect a clean site and more level ground. We were greeted and taken to site but shown where the loos/ shower is.

I stayed at Nan’s place for two nights with my kids (5yo twins and 7yo) and my extended family. My kids had almost too much fun! Plenty of hiking, fishing, bike riding, and exploring. My nephew (14) and his mate were riding mountain bikes up and down the place. Us adults were able to settle down by the fire and relax from time to time as the kids could keep themselves amused. 10/10. Will be back.

We turned up with 13ft hybrid which was mentioned at booking time. On arrival we got told our booked site wouldn’t be suitable, so then got sent to another site that was so unsafe to unhook the van (to much hill slope) So we left and drive the 3 hrs back home. 2 nights paid and not used. Not overly happy.

What a beautiful property, and the host was lovely.
I think he may have bitten off more than he can chew over the long weekend.
There was 1 room 2500x900 and had a shower and toilet in it…that was it. No more toilets no more showers.
There would have been at least 60 people on the property this weekend, 1 toilet is just not enough.
Our campsite was very private and secluded, which was nice, but there was a big derelict shed, so felt like we were in someone’s back yard! Not a huge deal, but not really ideal either.
Some campsites looked way better, and some
Not so much.
I think the place just needs a little more work!
Would go back though…but, now just know what to expect.
Thanks for your hospitality Nan, mostly a great weekend…just the toilet is an issue.

Loved the space!
So many animals to see and places to explore around the property! Owner was very friendly and accommodating!
Only thing I would suggest for future guests, if your staying at the site near the dam, remember to bring your mosquito repellent, as they are viscous need the water.
Overall a lovely stay, will definitely be back and recommending to many!
