Site 2 - Dairy Countryside Camp
We had such an awesome time staying at Peter’s space. We stayed on Site 2, and it was super private. It was almost like a private valley, with a friendly horse visiting us occasionally. Would recommend!

Nice site next to the dam, quiet and great location for exploring the forest and great ocean road, only 15 min from Colac. Peter welcomed us to his property and gave us some local information.

A beautiful, tranquil and picturesque spot. We loved our stay, and Peter was welcoming and helpful. He even pointed out a snoozing koala in the tree next to our camp. Will definitely be staying again!

We stayed by the dam, we had the site to ourselves. Can be a little tricky with a big caravan (ours was 9m long) but with a lil time a patience it was doable and we had Peter there on arrival and assisted us the whole time. He was kind enough to show us the resident Koala as ive always wanted to see one in the wild - It was amazing
The view was incredible

We loved our stay at Peter's farm. It was a great, flat site. Protected from the wind and heat of the day. Peter was lovely and helpful. Easy access to the site and close proximity to Gellibrand and attractions of the Otways. Kids had a ball!

Peter was a wonderful host. His knowledge of the local area was invaluable (as were his directions).
The property was idyllic and peaceful. We had no children with us, so we just got to sit and enjoy the view and wildlife. The photos are accurate.

Peter was an amazing host. I had forgotten my bedding and he kindly gave me a blanket and pillow, much needed on a freezing night. Peter then came to our rescue again in the morning when my battery was flat. What a legend!!!

I had a good time. Very private and quiet space, well sheltered from the wind. I had a lot of privacy which I appreciated. Good space for your dogs to run around safely. Highly recommended.

We loved our stay at Peter’s property. He greeted us at the front gate and guided us to level ground right in front of the dam filled with resident birds and underneath a gum tree with a koala sleeping. It was a perfect stay full of Peter’s yarns and knowledge. What a great host.

We really enjoyed our time at Pete's farm we took our 3 well behaved dogs , we all enjoyed the pond view with ducks and swamp hens. Nice cool nights meant we could have a little camp fire which Pete organised wood for us at a reasonable cost.
We hope to make it back there one day.
Thanks for the great chats and knowledge of the area Pete.

Peter’s property was beautiful and he was a great host. Super helpful and gave us plenty of tips. Even though there is another site it feels really private as it’s on the other side of the house. Highly recommend staying here - we’ll be back :)

It was a perfect site - secluded, awesome gum trees, koalas and close to awesome biking and swimming and beer drinking at Forrest. Peter was courteous and provided heaps of wood for a great price - the fire set up for cooking was brilliant. Would love to come back again! Thanks Peter and Boxer, and Margo and Dave (the friendly horses - we named those).

We’re So beginners of camping, but the host Peter helped us to build the tent and showed us around the site, amazing host. Luckily we could meet the horses and Koala, that was so memorable for us. Quiet and so peaceful place.

Camp site 2 had plenty of space and was great for camping with my family and my 2 dogs.
Space for the kids to ride their bikes and they also loved feeding the horses.
Peter is a great host and prepared fire wood for us, the fire pit was perfect with a swing top BBQ plate which we used every day.

Highly recommend this gorgeous spot to unwind. It was extremely peaceful! My dog and I loved watching the ducks on the damn each afternoon. Peter went above and beyond to ensure I had a comfortable stay! There’s so many beautiful walks and cute country pubs nearby. I’ll definitely be back!

Highly recommend this site, great cap right next to spring fed dam with platypus, koalas and bird life.

Peter was a great host. Friendly and welcoming. The site was really nice with room to setup right in front of the firepit and dam. Only 15 mins to town and perfect for getting out to the otways or redwoods and waterfalls. If you want a private spot to get away from tent city then this will suit you!

Peter was as good as host as you could ask for. Was supremely accommodating, generous and helpful.
The camping spot was lovely and spacious as well, and really appreciated how he has set it up so you're not in contact with other campers.
Despite how horrible our weather was, it was still a fantastic experience. We will be back Peter!
