We love sharing our space with you! 💚 Our new Kangaroo Rise camp kitchen is now available for all our guests with a toilet & shower at the back with separate access. We now offer Free WIFI to all our Campers. We do have a 2 night minimum stay ,however if you would prefer just the one night please contact us and we may be able to arrange this for you. Also added a new smart Tv to watch all the footy action, get in quick to book your Grand Final weekend . Guests can enjoy a quiet afternoon drink around the jetty pond or try your angling skills with the Bass & Silver Perch. Keep an eye out for the local koalas, kangaroos, wallabies, wombats, & more.If you're really lucky you may even spot a Fallow Deer down by the edge of the bush. Enjoy star gazing , bird watching and the magnificent sunset in this peaceful setting. Activities in the area include swimming in the tranquil clear blue waters of Anderson Inlet, Inverloch or the beautiful surf beach of Venus Bay. Visiting amazing wineries & farmers markets, fishing at Anderson Inlet, Walkerville & Shallow Inlet & walking or riding your pushy along the Great Southern Rail Trail. We're close to Phillip Island & one of Victoria's largest coastal wilderness areas, Wilsons Prom. We are also only 9 mins from Leongatha Golf Course, regarded as one of the best in Sth Gippsland. Our new Kangaroo Rise camp kitchen is now available for all our guests with a toilet & shower at the back with separate access. Fires are permitted from 1st March to 30th November and Fire pits & wood can be supplied . Conditional on weather conditions and any Fire danger warnings.

Our peaceful 40 acre farm with grazing black Angus steers, is located between the seaside towns of Inverloch and Venus Bay.  Our new Kangaroo Rise camp kitchen is now available for all our guests with a toilet & shower at the back with separate access. ******We now offer Free WIFI for all our Campers***** We do have a 2 night minimum stay ,however if you would prefer just the one night please contact us and we may be able to arrange this for you. Kangaroo Rise Camping offers 4 grassed sites (preferably self-contained campers). These are not designated so plenty of flexibility to set up up your camp where it suits you. The Camp area is fully fenced around a 30 M Colorbond Shed overlooking surrounding paddocks & bushland. The shed provides a wind break from the prevailing South Westerly winds , power if you need it & fresh drinking tap water . You have nature at your doorstep: Spot kangaroos, koalas, wombats, and all sorts of birdlife including Wedge tail eagles. Enjoy an afternoon drink around the jetty pond, take in the magnificent sunsets and watch the star show at night.  We are 15 mins from the beautiful Venus Bay beaches & stunning Inverloch .Also only 8 mins to Leongatha Golf Course, regarded as one of the best in South Gippsland. Activities in the area include visiting amazing wineries & farmers markets, fishing at Anderson Inlet, & walking or riding your pushy along the Great Southern Rail Trail. We're close to Phillip Island & one of Victoria's largest coastal wilderness areas, Wilsons Prom. There is a toilet & Shower in behind our new Camp Kitchen for everyones convenience. We do ask that Campers take all rubbish & recyclables away with them. We do have 2 fresh tank water (drinking) taps and a hot water tap . Power is available for an additional charge if required (see extras). Dogs are  also welcome as the area is fully fenced (not suited to toy size). Please state in your booking if you are bringing your dog along with you. Campfires are Not permitted from 1st December to 28th February and when fire bans are in place.

So you are not a seasoned camper but you would like to join your camping friends? This is the perfect alternative for you . The new Colourbond shed located in Kangaroo Rise camping area has a 2 bedroom Flat with its own bathroom (Shower & Toilet).  Queen beds in both bedrooms .  Its currently equipped with power, Reverse cycle A/C , ceiling fans & small lounge area with TV . There is a couch & kitchen table seating 4 with a kettle, toaster, fridge & microwave. A brand new basic  kitchenette with sink & Pantry has just been Installed equipped with cutlery & crockery. All cooking can be done outside ( under cover) in our new Camp Kitchen equipped with a 4 Burner BBQ & gas cooker. Its a great alternative for friends and family members of campers requiring accommodation who do not have their own camping set ups or Couples just wanting a little bit more of home creature comforts.  *****We now offer Free WIFI ******** We do have a 2 night minimum stay ,however if you would prefer just the one night please contact us and we may be able to arrange this for you. We provide Bed Linen ( Sheets , Doonas , pillows etc) for the 2 Queen Beds but not for the 2 foam mattresses , bring Kids sleeping bags for these .  Please bring all your own Towels & Favourite Loo paper. It is pet friendly.

We had a great weekend camping at Kangaroo Rise Camping 4 Sites! Adrian is a great host and has created a great site with excellent facilities. Awesome part of VIC with lots of exploring to do in the area.

Excellent stay. Great location some 15k’s inland from lovely Inverloch. Great views. Easy access to the property and ideal for any 2WD’s. We have a MH and had access to both power and water if required. We didn’t bother. We were met by the engaging host Adrian who kindly showed me around. What a gem of a place. Manicured lawns in a large fully fenced paddock with a new camp kitchen, hot shower and seperate very clean toilet. 4 sites in total. Lovely dam to the rear of the property and walks back on the roadway overlooking the ocean to the distance. Adrian supplied a great fire pit, kindling and wood at a cost of $25 per night. Overall a wonderful stay - well worth a visit - you won’t be disappointed. Will definitely be back.

What a wonderful property. The hosts were so welcoming and friendly. Beautiful views. Great camp kitchen and shower and toilet. We had such a relaxing break away. So peaceful. We spotted, kangaroo's 🦘 rabbits 🐇 and a very happy Koala 🐨. The sunsets were incredible. We would highly recommend and we will return. 👌👍😁😁🔥🍷🍾🥂

It is truly a beautiful rural setting with the convenience of a camp kitchen toilet and shower which have been beautifully designed and built . The area to camp is fenced off but that guest stop the magnificent views. Cows were neighbours plus a koala in the tree near us . Lush grass to camp on. The hosts were great and we had Adrian the farmer deliver us our fire pit and kindling and wood each night . We were able to top up the wood from the stockpile. It’s only about 15 minutes to the beach and we also had lunch at the tarwin lower pub which was only around a 10 minutes drive . Wonderful stay

We loved camping at Kangaroo Rise, Clancy Springs. The site was nice and secluded with beautiful views, the hosts were super friendly and welcoming, and the camp kitchen and facilities were an added bonus!

Outstanding little camp site. Had the whole thing to ourselves, our dog Bonnie absolutely loved it. Adrian, was very accommodating and welcoming 🤗 Will 100% be returning in the summer!

Beautiful place, perfect for groups
Kangaroo Rise Flat
Extremely well setup area. Amazing for families and groups who need mixed forms of camping. I have parents who can’t camp in tents anymore and need something more comfortable and the lodge worked great for that. Everyone is close by and the camp kitchen is great! Plenty of room for rvs too amazing views and super quiet (no road noise or anything). The host was lovely and even lit the fire for us when we arrived!

Kangaroo Rise Flat
My partner and I stayed at the kangaroo flat and absolutely loved that it accommodated all our needs. Adrian fit us in last minute which was great as we really wanted to take our dog away for the weekend. Highly recommend for anyone who wants the camping feel without any of the uncomfortableness that can come with it. Bed was very comfortable, and the flat was very clean.

Thank you Adrian for our lovely weekend stay. Kangaroo Rise camping was a beautiful property where we enjoyed a peaceful relaxing time away. The property was well equipped with everything we needed and had new and clean toilet and shower facilities. It was also nice we were able to bring our dog along for this trip! Beautiful and peaceful. Tucked away only a short drive from Inverloch, Wonthaggi and Leongatha Kangaroo Rise is a tranquil retreat. Fully fenced area with amenities this is a fantastic spot for families and friends to stay. Variety of accommodation options suited us as some people didn't camp. Plenty of space for caravans, camper trailers, and tents. Huge camp kitchen and toilet/shower made the stay more pleasant. Range of wildlife roaming around include Kangaroos and Koalas. If you ask the host nicely they may let you visit the dam and the water dragons (owners pets). Highly recommend staying here.

This is our third stay and this time we took the whole extended family for Easter. Beautiful setting, caring hosts and high quality amenities. Suited our group with the option of staying in the flat for the non campers in the family. Starlit nights around the campfire and being able to have our dogs close by, safe to run around made it memorable. Highly recommend.

We absolutely loved our stay at Kangaroo Rise! The hosts Adrian and Sandy were wonderful and welcoming and very knowledgable about the area. Their property is beautifully presented and they work very hard to make sure everyone can enjoy their experience. The camp kitchen is impressive with a toilet and shower at back and both are spacious and thoughtfully appointed. The camping area has a great sense of space, we didnt feel too close to anyone, we could enjoy the views around us, and those views are spectacular! It was great to see the wildlife around the property too. If you have children, they will love looking for koalas, seeing kangaroos, a variety of native birds and the wedge tailed eagles are so majestic. The property is away from the road, and provides a peaceful, tranquil escape. It is also in close proximity of Leongatha and Inverloch for day trips out or supply runs. I cannot fault the property and we truly loved our time there. Our doggo was able to relax in the fully fenced camping area and enjoy the space and the smells. Pepper loved her stay! We look forward to another visit soon and will recommend this destination to everyone. Theres is also a two bedroom, beautiful, sparkling clean and modern unit to stay in as an option. Its truly such a magnificent property to enjoy. Thank you both Adrian and Sandy for a wonderful time at Kangaroo Rise!!

Fabulous site. We were welcomed to the property by a group of kangaroos. The kitchen, toilet and shower were all clean and very well maintained. Adrian was quick to communicate and welcoming on our arrival. Very happy to recommend this site.

This is the loveliest spot to camp less than 2 hours drive from Melbourne. A fenced, sheltered paddock with access to power and water if needed and the recent addition of a well appointed kitchen with adjoining shower and toilet. Clean and well maintained. Numbers are limited to 4 so everyone has space. The highlight for me was the most hospitable of hosts in Adrian and the availability of a fire pit on request. Plenty to do nearby during the day. Venus Beach and nature walks followed by a winery lunch at one of the numerous vineyards in the area. Notable mentions are the appearance of kangaroos every evening, birdsong and stars to see at night. Thanks Adrian and Sandy

A picturesque spot on the hill with beautiful views of the bush and farms. With an immaculate shower and toilet, plus a camp kitchen and power in demand it’s the ideal spot to relax or use as a base for the nearby beach towns. The owners are friendly and go out of their way to make it a great stay. In short, we loved it!

From the minute we arrived the host (Adrian) was extremely welcoming and helpful. The facilities on offer are excellent, shower toilet and eating area under cover all made it an easy and relaxing camping trip. I would definitely recommend and will use again.

We had a great time at the campgrounds. Peaceful surroundings—lovely place to enjoy the outdoors and wildlife (beautiful galah birds and kangaroos). Very clean amenities (toilet, shower, kitchen). Adrian was a great host — very helpful and accomodating (including with getting our fire started). Perfect for a quiet weekend away.

Our family spent 3 nights at Clancy Springs, 3 of us in a camper with power and water and the other 5 in the Kangaroo Rise Flat. The setting is absolutely beautiful and very peaceful and quiet. The amenities were the best we have experienced, a fantastic shower and toilet and kitchen facilities with everything you need. Adrian and Sandy are also amazing hosts, extremely welcoming and lovely to chat to. We can highly recommended Clancy Springs and without a doubt we will be back!

We had a wonderful weekend camping at Clancy Springs! Adrian has a beautiful property and the facilities they've put in are great, making for a comfortable stay. It's also a good location to treat as a home base and explore the surrounding area — we certainly hope to be back!

Fantastic Hipcamp. Beautiful kitchen, shower and toilet. Enclosed area so dogs can have a run. Close to the South Gippsland coast. Highly recommended!

We had a fantastic stay! Adrian went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and help out with a little van mishap. The space he’s created for campers is wonderful. The toilet, shower and kitchen facilities are extremely clean and perfect for families. Views are stunning. We will definitely be back! Thanks for having us Adrian.

We found that most HipCamp locations are Goff but a few are great. This is one of them. Location, host, good weather, we had it all in our first visit to Adrian’s farm. Clean showers and toilets, great kitchen area, easy drive to towns and beautiful beaches and Adrian was what a good host should be. We loved it and will come again
